The Indian embassy in Kyrgyzstan issued a press release on Wednesday and said that due to swift action by the Kyrgyz authorities, the situation in Bishkek has returned to normal.
No untoward incident has been reported in Bishkek during the past few days. However, as a measure of precaution, the classes are being conducted in an online mode.

Im a 4th year student studying in Kyrgyzstan. Kgma University. It's true that since the day of incident and the next day there have been no such reports of any kind of violence on foreign students. And the students living in the flats are more unsafe than the ones living in hostel. I belive the situation will be normal in these vacations months as our major concern is that we still have one more year left. It's was the first time something like this has happened in Kyrgyzstan otherwise it's a pretty safe country especially for women. Even the locals apologize to us when we go out with local volunteers for the wrongdoing of certain hooligans. I believe there were a lot of factors contributing to that uprising on 18 may and one of them was that some Bangladesh and Pakistani workers are living there illegally without any authorised documents because they crossed the border illegally. Since last month we have been stopped by police many times to see our documents coz they are trying to find these people living illegally. This could have been the reason for locals targeting the Pakistani students more i think. There were many fake news of student death too. I hope it will be better again!!!! 🤞🏻

मेडिकल पढाई के लिये,अपने देस से अच्छा बांगलादेश है, छोटा देस है फिर भी 112 कॉलेज है (३२ सरकारी+८० प्रायव्हेट) 25 लाख से 50 लाख मे इंडिया जैसा क्वालिटी एज्युकेशन,सबको पढाई करणेका अवसर(जो भारत मे नही है) इंडीया मे जिन students को एमबीबस करना है उनके लिये देस मे 25 लाख से 50 लाख तक क्वालिटी एज्युकेशन available karaye, चाहे next exam यूपीएससी जैसी कठीण हो.अवसर सबको मिलना चाहिए
