Many great tips in this video. But several are unavailable unless you’re running 17.2, which isn’t available yet. That’s a bit frustrating. But for all the others, thanks!

low power mode is king for battery love.
You can add it to your controls swipe thingy. Kills background functions. You don't have to wait until the battery is almost dead. You can turn it on at 100%, though it will turn itself off everytime you charge it to 100%.
My terrible Iphone SE2 which I'm convinced runs on a 1980's digital watch battery, will last hours longer doing intensive battery draining things, like watching youtube on a browser (for obvious reasons). It says it kills all unnecessary background functions. I don't believe it entirely, but for battery charge, it is an amazing function that any iphone user should know about. Oh, also, I haven't noticed any loss of functions. I even use it on my ipad pro. Procreate chews up that battery juice and tries to cook me. The heat is way down with LPM on also.
Why doesn’t my iPhone 13 have the iCloud private relay, and name phone numbers email isn’t named that on my iPhone! Should I be worried?

I really learned a lot from your videos. But, I’m visually impaired, and I have to listen and turn it off and go to settings and then scroll down because I can’t read each word it takes forever. I wish you did a transcript so I could have an easier time.
@susankrahling6326 He offers a transcript if you Join, which would be a reasonable expense for since I too have vision problems. Unfortunately, his transcripts are impossible for me to use since I can’t navigate Discord (where the transcripts are placed, or at least where they were last I was a member).
@@street55789 thanks so much for the info. Yeah, I don’t know how to navigate discord and things like that. I’m trying to learn, but my visual impairment makes it more difficult. And since I wasn’t a whiz with technology before my site loss, it’s become more difficult.
I have contacted Social services for the blind in my county. And they are sending someone out who’s going to help me with some technological stuff. Don’t know if you’ve done that or not. But it might help.
There was a menu display for the battery under Settings -> General -> About that you had on a recent video. You were running iOS 17.2 (I'm guessing most of us aren't there yet - we're at 17.1.2). Is this going to be a new feature of iOS 17.2, or was it only going to be available for iOS testers?
Right now that is only exclusive to the iPhone 15 lineup, we hope to see it come to the other phones later

@@CodedEnough I also have the iPhone 13, and i just updated it to iOS 17.2. As you indicated, the battery menu feature I inquired about is not there. Sucks having to watch a video for the iPhones and not have a feature that is displayed by David. It's not like the iPhone 13 is ancient technology.
@@MickF04 Ya. It sucks that Apple is just pushing these major features only for their newer devices, but unfortanetly thats how they make their money. They want us to upgrade every year or so to their latest devices, even though they raising the prices like crazy

Unfortunately, no. The shortcut is only available if you have the analytics & inprovements switch on.

I have the iPhone 14 Pro and it has poor battery life, screen scrolling problems and some other bugs and random overheating. Should I trade in to the the 15 Pro Max or keep the 14 Pro and instead get a cheaper 13 Pro from eBay or parallel importer store, or wait for the 16 Pro?
Whichever you prefer. If you can wait until the 16 pro, I would do that. Otherwise, you can go with the 15 pro

Because I’ve had the 13 Pro before I traded it in to the 14 Pro early last year, but I would like to use it again since I enjoyed it more than my current 14 Pro, even if the 13 Pro batch I’ve had was having some calling and battery bugs and issues so therefore I traded it in to the 14 Peo that I currently use.
Therefore, if not the 13P, would you trade in to the 15P or the 15PM or wait to the 16P and then trade in the 14P to the 16P?
@@satxrnhimself Most likely, the 16 pro will ship with a lot of nice-to-have features. We don't know exactly yet since we still have a while, but it will most likely be better than what we've seen before

It's not yet. The journal app will be available with the release of iOS 17.2, releasing some time this week
24 hours later it is out and I updated to it and not tried the journal app

Unsure! Unless there's legislation that gets passed, it's likely it'll stay around for as long as possible!

When was this video made? Privacy preserving ad measurement is not in that section of settings anymore.

My iPhone 15 is junk. The Bluetooth keeps dropping out on both car (car play) and earbuds. I'm not alone. The Apple help page is filled with the same complaints, and Apple is not addressing the problem. I am close to going to android.

The choices are going to be different, since this video (at least the first part), is on a older iOS version. The email preferences are under Personal Information > Communication Preferences. Your subscriptions are just uder the Subscriptions tab.

Not over-sensitive to sound, but indeed to overrushed explanation. Not all people are as experienced with iphone routing as you are. I totally lost you a number of times. Had to lower playback speed to be able to follow you. Made the two of you sound drunk, had a good laugh.
