For me the most surprising fact about Jordan Peterson is that he said ' Give them hell Netanyahu on October 7. For an intellectual person who had long been speaking about the importance of choosing the right words , of speaking with precision, saying something like this is unforgivable for me. Even if he is on the side of Israel , he could asked for a punishment , he could say terrorist most be killed ... but using those exact words 'give them hell Netanyahu" give the impression that we wanted a revenge on all Palestinian . And it's exactly what's happening now. children and women are being killed in the most horrible ways , I saw and old women being attacked by an Israeli war dog, children with no arms, some of them had been burned with bombs.
I really though he was a good person , but it is in conflicts , that we can see the true nature of people , their true principals and if they act as they talk

It makes sense why you're upset about what Peterson said. His words don't match how he usually talks so carefully. Even though it was right after a shocking event, saying things like that can be harmful.

@@TheSelfUpgradeZone no its not justified, wrong is wrong. I'm simple person , I don't have PHD in psychology, even after I have seen the most devastating images one can imagine of Palestinian dying . Child with flattened head, a burnt baby , a kid crying over his amputated leg. I still don't wish hell to all jewish people , though I do wish it to the IDF and people involved in the genocide.
If he cannot stop his emotion from controlling his action , than he is not such a great man. Hating comments , and tweets , are partially tolerable when they come from unknown people , but when you're an influential figure you should be careful because everything you say is not just an opinion but is an invitation for others to follow.
I'm not hurt or upset over Jordan Peterson , I was just surprised. The good thing he made relise that those influencers are just good talkers.
