It was even more intense in that Jesus walked into their work place and called them out to follow Him.

Ellen White in Desire of Ages, and other authors did mention Peter having his own boat and in fact, Jesus used Peter's boat as a pulpit. Why was this fact ignored ? They were equally well-to-do

Can I ask a question pls? I wonder why Jesus asks the name of the evil spirits? if they were in heaven before, I'd think that Jesus knew them. Also how those evil spirits were not as perfect as when they were created? for instance Legion (because they were many) is one of them, another was deaf and couldn't talk.

17:16 even demons know Jesus!! WOW!

  • @anthonyallen8780

It should be pondered if the demons are not the ones to appear before the judgement seat of Christ for the deeds they have done in the bodies of us humans, after they are released from their chains. It is to be noted that the lake of fire is prepared for the Devil and his angel's and the deeds. This may be reflected in their accusing Jesus of coming to torment them before the appointed time.

Not much has changed! Most are again looking for the Messiah to return in order to free them from the Remnant Romans, to burn those in His glorious appearing and a thousand years later to infuse life into those, in order to again burn them. We must study to free ourselves from such pagan doctrine and take note how in scripture God has dealt with sinners in the past, there is not one case study of Him ever bringing a sinner back to life in order to execute them. There are however case studies of Him placing the sin on a proxy such as the scapegoat in the sanctuary service.

That's the lie of the demons/Satan saying Jesus is coming to destroy and is the author of death. That's the ideology of most protestant denominations of today, that God is the the one who destroys and kills. We reap what we sow, we suffer our own consequences of our own bad choices. And if you, you alone not God, separate yourself from God then you will be destroyed by being eternally separated from God due to your hardened heart. Our God is an eternal fire, Hebrews 12:29. Who can walk in the fire? Isaiah 33:14-15 The righteous can walk in God's non combustible fire, and the evil or those who have rejected God can't be in the presence of God's fire, they want the mountains to come down on them.
