@@Masta-Blasta that really means a lot. Truly. It's been a really good stress reliever for me and a good way, like you said, to fill in the gaps and time. Plus there are lots of cool people to meet, just like yourself.
1st off, shield boost DEFINITELY works to increase score, and the faster you trip the blades the bigger your score. 2nd, Awesome test! Can't fault the logic of the process, and don't understand at all why anyone would say not to go past 75/100...
@gerogefinkle4764 I cannot tell you how many times I have seen this in the forums. I had a player request to not arm the shield for a better test result and just did something different.

To be honest, I usually get a higher score without the shield, and there was some serious controversy about a year ago when I brought this up into the forums. This topic alone pushed me into doing these videos more seriously.
I’ve done a test for myself on different combination for the legion hunt. The thing that worked for me was I don’t pick shield or wing gun. I pick attack rate instead to speed up the maingun (not sure about the missiles). I can send you a video if you want so you won’t have to waste turns on legion hunt.
As someone who doesn’t have the points to achieve even 75% across the board, my question is; is it better to level up equally or focus on key options. Eg. Taking x to 100 before spending any on y? Or bring both x and y up at same time?
@MrAm4420 there is a big difference. Doing a super armor only gives you a 2 second buff advantage to your shield, which really does nothing to your score. It's a proven fact that the wing gun is the weakest of the weapons, and if you are using concourer especially, you get all of the 10% critical bonus. It's says it during mission plays to prove this is true as you upgrade the stars.

I do get much higher scores when I pick the conq shield over the winggun. You just have to keep the spinning blades cleared as long as you can

Even when i go with shield i get higher score.

but why didnt you compare with the armor buff…how do want toknow there is the different between wing gun and armor?
