omg those assist punish to Omniblock...the things that happen in lag. That was pure gold lmfao. ah and for Bombard v Maelstrom, all you need is to react to the visual cue - as soon as you see wind just hit Bombard. Alternately, if you're close you can TC Exd at the last sec, Mael's brv dmg will hit you then the rest cancelled by TC hitting after PP's invul runs out.
Another thing about Bombard vs. Maelstrom -- don't move while you're doing it. I had to learn that the hard way.

I play Exdeath and while I'd say that this looks one - sided OP, I can confirm that it takes a lot of time and effort to time blocks and moves and to achieve this gameplay.
I can also confirm that this doesn't mean Exdeath is without a weakness. Good Exdeath players know what counters them and how to go around them.
Exdeath scares me enough when it's the AI at max difficulty, I can't even imagine the nightmare of fighting a real player whose mastered the guy.

No one builds assits like Exdeath, though.
HP attack startup -> cancel into block startup -> cancel into dash startup -> cancel into HP attack startup -> repeat
It allows him to constantly and safely build assist. He can still react to the opponent and change strategy at the drop of a hat. And if you decide to camp he'll just cast Maelstrom and make you go to him.

The nuttiest part is that the counter versions of Exdeath’s kit are baked into his shields. You don’t have to equip them to use them.

Exdeath matches are really boring to watch. People either have to play like cowards against him and drag matches out, or if they decide to play like normal people, everything they do will be easily countered.

This is why NT is inferior and not a true Dissidia. The fear of encountering any ExDeath, even easy AI, is what Dissidia is really about.

JT lol is that something to be proud of? All you have to do is counter the obvious attacks that come to you because the desperate opponent can't do anything against ex's pressure.

Exdeath doesn't require training all you need to know is basic stuff, for one reverse polarity takes away the point of having to learn Exd any at all, Omni is op cause it blocks any attack and it's pretty much instant then the assist building and teleport make him untouchable, I've seen people just float around the match to see you rage only way to beat Exd is with Exd anyone else is a gamble you'll lose.
Lmao, u have obviously never played competitive 012 . He has counter picks. And he's also not easy to use at high level. People that have spent thousands of hours mastering him help it look easy.
@@jt5051 Exdeath doesn't actually have counter pics because it's all in knowing your opponents options and Omni block is just that broken and yes I have, and my opponent rage quit and made a big deal out of it so I never played again.

Exdeath is not broken this character needs alot of practice to master and its need skills and precise timing for each combo
Zedde zedd either you're an exdeath main who tries to justify a broken pick, or you're just ignorant, because EVERY character needs mastery. Exdeath is broken as fuck, and you know it. You can't stay far away from him and you can't get close either. No distance is safe (close being the best option so he doesn't GC or Maelstorm spam. You can't attack since with a bit of practice, any exdeath main will block and counter EVERYTHING. Nothing will beat him.

Every character has a counter pick they will not create something that is so op or imbalance, you can accept that you cannot counter him or youre not that good instead of telling me that I'm ignorant😂😂 Tbh you look like one of those players who rant about broken characters and cry about their skills etc.. I totally agree that he may be difficult to use and master. But being difficult to master doesn't change the fact he is broken. One thing doesn't negate the other one.
And yes, this game is totally unbalanced (that is common knowledge in the Dissidia community), but I still prefer this unbalanced but really fun game full of single player content (which is the real appeal of this game) than the balanced but boring and empty bullsh&t that NT was.
