I don't think I've ever seen a plug walk plug walkoff before. This level was CRAZY, between this and the second base freezing, my goodness. Incredibly high quality content in-game and with you as always!

Therefore you lost. It never says you can continue with 0 lives

Hi Chiz, love the video. I just have one thing to take note of, the rules of Level 56 state that if you lose all 3 lives you lose the level. You ended up losing three times, one in Peach Ice Garden, one in Bowser Jr's Playroom, and one in Luigi's Mansion. Then you seemed to have proceeded to complete the rest of the level as if you have one extra life despite the fact that your lives are at 0. If you get this comment Chiz, or any other who has watched the stream on Twitch, can someone please explain to me this who 3 lives rule in a much deeper explanation?

He used a life zero, just as games like Mario Galaxy, Mario 3D World, Sonic Colors, and Sonic Lost World do, I'm thinking.

@@ChizPlays but you lost two lives in Ice Garden, one for the lost inning and one for the tied one before (you didn’t count it but actually the rules say to treat it as a loss), so technically you have lost four times during the challenge, hence the challenge was lost. Still a fantastic performance

Didn’t the rules say that ties resulted in a loss? Why did he not reset after ice garden?
in baseball, a game goes to extra innings if the score is tied after regulation. this is also true for this game. in mario baseball, it only ends in a tie if a winner hasn't been decided after 3 more innings.
for example, in 1-inning games, if no one has win by the end of the 1st inning, the game is extended by up to 3 innings, and a tie is declared if no one has won by the end of the 4th inning.
Plug walks, the canseco, and the 0 life clutch, I don't think I've seen a video this insane from you in a long time coach!
For future reference on the random teams… say you have DK as your captain and you only hit random once, you’re going to get the DK characters (Funky, Tiny, Diddy etc.) plus a couple of other ones that are actually random (same goes for Bowser; Bowser Jr., Koopas, etc.). So if you truly want a “random” team you need to hit random more than once

Not trying to be that guy because the one hundred levels of yell are amazing, but if Chiz lost 3 lives and then won with the next one that would be his 4th life which violates the rules. Any Mario game you play will show that if you have 3 lives and die 3 times it’s game over. Loved the video tho!
they were treated as extra attempts. mario 64, mario sunshine, and both galaxy games dont send you to the game over screen until you lose a life when you have 0 lives. the person who wrote it appears to have done so that way.

Remember Sluggers has limited extra innings. So if it ended in a tie, it counts as a loss. He didn’t get that far in any of the games
Yea it meant "tie" as in if the game ends in a "draw" it would be a lost. If the game "Ends in a tie" not tying for one inning 😂
