I always found it pretty amusing how Duo Lon, a literal assassin who can speak with the dead and dissolve into bones was actually a pretty chill and pleasant guy to be around but the wimpy-looking french boy was the one that almost destroyed the entire world.
In the end, Ash kinda was a good guy, he's most an anti hero, his plan had ultimately good intentions but he had to go for a very dirty path to achieve it
He did a time paradox to save everyone from his ancestor's clan. So even though he fucked up and caused an anomaly indirectly, he did save the world despite that risk.
Duo Lon's back, baby! I'm so glad they're going to remix this track! If we can get Shen Woo back for KoF XV sometime, we'll have the bad boy squad back together.

I was on the SNK wiki page for Verse and I noticed his Quotes page was updated. It looks like SNK may be planning the revival of various characters from the previous KoF games after all.
Doll Ryougi Elizabeth wouldn't want to revive Saiki, and Saiki isn't french like Ash. Verse quotes and the Ikari ending imply that Verse had a TON of people inside him, and ALL OF THEM were released when Verse died. Some of them include: Ash Orochi Rugal Leona's biological father and Igniz(or Krizalid?)
Ash Crimson. He trolls, he has green flames, he does people dirty and he's the protagonist. Ash, the trolling anti-villain, easily my favorite protagonist in KOF so far. I don't know how they're going to make the next protagonist after Ash set the bar so high, but I eagerly wait to see what they do next.

I love how the title of this theme & the song itself perfectly describes this team in a nutshell. From 0:00-1:18 gives the team a sort of menacing and sinister tone, basically representing the members to be rather rough, dark, and intimidating looking from 1st glance. Then the transition from 1:18-2:04 begins to play a more heroic tone to show that despite their rather rough & intimidating exterior, they're actually really good people (well 2/3 of Hero Team via Duo Lon and Shen Woo. Ash was still debatable for the time before XIII came to be).

Oh, boy, how many times I've spent playing KOF 2003 with Ash Crimson. Some people hate this game, well, I just can't play '94 or '95 on easy mode, but I beat 2003 too many times at the hardest.
People dislike 2k3 because it took so many steps backwards, also a lot of bugs. But for me Mukai was better than Magaki and the in-game portraits are just spot on.
But this is a new story arc, and Ash canonically erased himself from existence. A supposed leaked DLC list shows Ash or a shape shifter who can turn into Ash/Yashiro/Krizalid.

sameee, l'm think AST version of this theme is naturally a better than his version of OST.
Falcoon is one weird character designer, he made Malin and Shen, but also Ash and Duo Lon.
At least he did make one not weird but cool character, Oswald.
He also made the Maximum Impact characters.
To be frankly honest, he did a pretty good job overall.
