I Tested Whether Eye Training ACTUALLY Improves Your Aim

  • Today, I test whether only eye training for a week will improve aim. To do this, I establish a baseline using 7 scenarios from Kovaak's and then proceed to only eye train for the next 7 days. On the 8th day I retake the 7 scenarios to test to see whether or not aim training actually helps.
    I am not sponsored by Kovaak's (although that would be cool)

    If you don't like the close fast strafes, I would recommend checking out auto-balanced fast strafes. It's a very good scenario I use to warm up whenever I play.

      So, I checked it out and I gotta say I absolutely love it. I may make a short-form video on it because I feel like it really helps my micro-movement.

    for almost a decade of analysing esports I feel I can see why this might work if you go and watch serious competitive players during games you can sense their high extreme calmness and confidence you can witness that in table tennis players and I choose this sport cause it is probably the closest to most competitive online games since it is super dynamic. the reason why I can see this works is similar to other practices that supposedly they enhance performance such as Meditation, exercises, visualization, and journaling. They all train your ability to control your conscious mind which there is studies that show the subconscious is the part of the brain mostly utilized by high level athletes since the conscious mind is limited and therefore if you can control the conscious side to not disturb the subconscious you are more likely to be more consistent and perform better.
    this takes me to second conclusion it is maybe safe to say not every pro player utilizing these techniques therefore we see fluctuations in different esports to who the best individually and rarely we have someone super consistent such as faker, also taken the fact that usually ppl go with "if it is not broken than leave it alone" mentality and I mean by that for ppl to reach that top level performance, they probably only put in so much hours and practice. Thus, for pro players at young age I can see them ignoring those practices since they didn't need them to get where they are, and that actually makes me excited for one day we see new generation of pro players doing for example meditation before and after they became pro.
    English is my 2nd language excuse any mistakes please.

    i saw your eye training video so im going to watch it to see if i improve. cata ic long strafe is fun but having thin targets is probably better to play for warmup.

    Like if it was for several months

      I agree! I just did a week because I wanted to get the video out and since I was ONLY eye training, I was getting antsy because I like aim training with the mouse too.

    Its rather backwards rather than benefitting, it makes your eyes respond fastwr than your brain can process, so your hand only trying to match it instead synchronized with it. Try to do this with also more interactive approach related to game you play

    • @incprovement
      @incprovement  Před měsícem +1

      I feel like you’d have to eye train to an extreme degree to get to that point. It’s best to eye train, then aim train, then play. At least that’s what I do and it works pretty well. First time I’m hearing about that perspective though!

      Don't listen to this man. Your sens is already really low. Increase your sense by ~20% and drop you dpi to 400. Shakiness will be gone and mouse movement will feel smoother than ever.
