    I need some help gomoku! I'm planning on taking out my pe3 adajo out to try on Yellowtail Kingfish Australia and they pull very hard, I'm not sure if the rod has enough backbone for the job or how much the rod can lift at a 60 degree, please reply soon the charter is coming up

    • @RapalaSoutheastAsia
      @RapalaSoutheastAsia  Před 7 lety

      Hi Datder, yes, you can definitely tame so nice Kingies on the PE3. We advise not to high-stick the rod. In fact, the ideal position is just slightly above horizontal and let your reel do the work for you.

    • @RapalaSoutheastAsia
      @RapalaSoutheastAsia  Před 7 lety

      Hi Faiz, both are good reels and its best to give it a try before you buy to see which one feels better on your hand in terms of ergonomics, cranking power and drag pressure.

    hi fred! planning to get a slowfall PE2 set up. should i go for the adajo or slo4 rod?

    • @RapalaSoutheastAsia
      @RapalaSoutheastAsia  Před 7 lety +2

      Hi Shabir Leila,
      Slo4 is a better rod with Fuji SIC K-guides and higher Ton graphite allows you to have more sensitivity of the rod and lighter compared to Storm Adajo. However because of it's higher Ton graphite, you have to be more careful not to high stick the Slo4 rod. About Storm Adajo, it's more forgiving and would recommend that to you if you're new to slow jigging to least the chances of the breakage. Hope that this helps you to have a better ideas of what you should be getting. Have a nice day!
