    This reminded me how much I enjoy & have missed your macaron videos Camila!! I'm guessing you probably haven't made more of these videos since you pretty much got all the flavors and designs anyone could think of, am I on the right track ? Lol
    Thanks for posting this a bit early for us too so we (well me anyway) can get our things together and print the template to make them.
    I bet I could speak for all of us and say we would still love to see when you make some more macs or other things too, if you have a chance to record it... Even if its one you've already made but maybe just a different decorating idea. Or I'd love a video of all kinds of tips you think we could use... random macaron tips or something, ya know?!?
    Lastly these turned out beautifully !! ❤❤❤❤❤
    2 questions just came to mind...
    How do you clean your macaron mats ?
    How do you store your macaron mats/sheets?

      Thank you so much dear!! I post all my new macaron content to my course, since I already have a lot of content here available for free. I appreciate your suggestions, I can definitely look into making a video of random macaron tips for youtube, I love that idea!
      I clean the macaron mats with soap and water, if they are greasy or slimy, I wipe them with vinegar, or soak them in a baking sheet with water, soap, vinegar and baking soda.
      I store my mats and sheets on a sheet rack. This is the one I have: a.co/d/bUgRSCQ

    I love the heart shape! Do you ever freeze them and if so, what would you recommend freezing them in?

    May I ask why you don’t use the Italian meringue method to make
    Macarons?

    What would be an estimate drying time? I would be scared to touch it before it got a time to rest and leave a print

      @PiesandTacos  Před 5 měsíci

      depends on the weather and how much food coloring you've added. it can take from 20 minutes to 2 hours, there's no way of telling without touching it and looking at it.

    Do you have to adjust the oven temp if you only have a fan oven?

    • @PiesandTacos
      @PiesandTacos  Před 5 měsíci

      yes, usually lower temperatures. From 265 to 285 fahrenheit. youll have to experiment and see what's best.

    You seem to add all your dry ingredients at one time? Every other video says to do it in three parts? Does that really matter?

    • @PiesandTacos
      @PiesandTacos  Před 5 měsíci

      I never add in three parts, I've done it before to try it out but saw no benefits. Sometimes if using the french method that can be beneficial to avoid over mixing. But with the swiss, there's no point in doing that.
