Thank you, this is the best video I found to replace my HDD, you focus on the detail of the cable which is overseen in other videos. Keep the good work !!
It's my pleasure my friend. 😊 Thank you for taking the time to give feedback! If you would like to support the channel, please like, subscribe, or both. :P
i do try to keep it short and focus on important parts.🫠
Should you have any questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me.
Cheers🍻
Thank you for your video, it looks surprisingly easy to do ssd/hdd replacement/upgrade.
My G3 17" came with a tiny M.2 120gb ssd, plus a mech 1tb. I would quadruple the ssd to 500gb, and also replace the 1tb 2.5" mech to a 2tb ssd.
While the cover is off, I might as well clean the fan and duct (we have 2 cats...). Have you done a cleaning video on this machine, or a similar one?
🫠Regarding your question, sure here is a video for the servicing:

cheers🍻
Thanks for the video. Is it any limit on the disk capacity to install? My G3 3779 specs shows "Up to 512GB " for the M.2 SSD
Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P
regarding your question: ROFL that's a BIG BS from manufacture you can place a 2TB SSD without any issues my friend we do upgrade them all the time, and after upgrade call them and tell them they should know what they are selling!
My machine is super slow and always appears disk bound. I couldn't understand that. I bought memory to see if that would help as it was only 4GB. When I opened it up, I was shocked to see the SDD was missing! Is that normal in some configs? If I add an SDD, do I still need the HDD?
Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P
regarding your question: oh boi, 1st of all its very very normal, they only gave you for your setup a HDD that is the bottle neck of the system.
i recommend you to add a good quality SSD m.2 and keep your HDD for storage and games.
you can add up to 4TB m.2 ssd and 2TB HDD at the same time. install the window on your SSD and you will see the magic :)
here are the list for ssd and hdd and nvme m.22:
🔵 1TB NVME SSD: amzn.to/3uQ3HOB
🔵 1TB SSD 2.5': amzn.to/3JMQASf
🔵 2TB HDD 2.5': amzn.to/3MfMSCB

@@uFixTekWill I be able to use the samsung 980 pro or 990 pro ssd (pcle 4gen) to the fullest extent, if the laptop manual implies the use of an ssd (pcle 3gen)?
