Hey! Thanks for testing out our Farming add-on! You’ve raised some really valid points so I just wanted to drop in.
We never meant to sound deceptive with our marketing, we honestly just counted every item, we’ll be updating this to reflect food counts more accurately.
We’re also committed to updating this add-on with new features for the next 12 months! These updates will be included in your original purchase, and will be adding new content.
Lastly, I hear you on some of the models, we’re working on visual overhauls step by step. We tried a style and it didn’t work!
Anyway, as I say, thanks for testing out our add-on! We can’t wait to show you future updates!
Thank you for being transparent and vowing to make improvements.
Makes spending the money more worthwhile knowing the add-on creators care to make changes and not just leave things as is.
Enjoyed the add-on a lot. I like that through the marketplace it is able to "update" and everyone will get a better version without having to pay again.
Thanks for creating it :)
I love the add on, I hope you could add more things like the juicer, more function blocks like cooking pots or brick oven. Not those exact ideas ofc, but just using regular old crafting tables and brewing stands feels weird to me. Love the amount of variations to food. Peanut butter and marmalade is my favorite
The fact that the creators have also commented on wattles video makes me really excited for the future of the add on. Going the extra bit and paying attention to what the viewers of popular minecraft channels want AND instantly reassuring everyone about improvements is really cool.
@@azazel56 This is most definitely on the list. I didn’t expect machines like the juicer to be such a big hit! I thought, wrongly clearly, that people would prefer more vanilla style crafting methods!!
Spending $8 for stardew valley in Minecraft is crazy
You get two games in one deal
we got Bidenomics in Minecraft before GTA 6💀💀💀
Seeing as the developer put the time into making it and the quality is pretty good so I thinks worth it.
Bro just get the trio of 5 sandbox games for like 150 sepretly, way more balneced but only for the rich
What did the left shoe say to the right shoe???
"We sure do make a great pear!"
Wait, are you telling me, Mojang let’s you create addons
BUT DOESNT LET YOU ADD CUSTOM BLOCKS?
WHAT THE ENTIRETY OF MINECRAFT IS MADE OF????
And least they let you do the things from the title (add mining tools and crafting recipes) but still damn. Talk about having addon support.
Now it makes so much more sense why most blocks are actually just entities with barriers as hitboxes like the decoration addons
Tru
E
It does but the marketplace doesnt use that functionality
You can add custom Blocks, Real Source has allready made some
"this is a british person's dream; you can turn tea into tea!" 💀
As a British team. We concur!
On the subject of peacock noises, I live in an area where rich people breed them for fun. My first time in the rich person part of the woods, I started hearing weird cat like noises, but way louder. Turns out peacocks sound really weird!
whats the area
@@polarbear3940 Northern Idaho, the mountains around CDA.
Same here in the UK, there's a big manor/farmhouse over the fields from us that has quite a few. It's quite common here for big stately homes and such to keep them. It's s a fair distance away but surprisingly you can hear them even from a few miles out haha
@@12fishcake Sounds very old money English indeed.
Really hope free Bedrock mods become better and as good as Java so that y'all in Bedrock don't have to pay 8 dollars for more food
Literally this is crazy lmao
Nobody has to pay anything, you can easily sideload addons and have been able to do so for years. The difference is that now creators have a reliable way to monetize their work and so they do
@@DanielPereira-ey9nt Yes, I know that, I played Bedrock exclusively for 6 years before Java; the thing is that they don't come close to Java's free mods, and now with marketplace add-ons, every creator will understandably monetize their work, as bare bone as it might be, if you can get money, why wouldn't you?
I really hope people start creating free mods for Bedrock more, because having to pay 8 dollars for more food is ridiculous (yes I know there's free food add-ons, it's just an example)
Really appreciate seeing a Java player saying something supportive towards us bedrock players 😌🙌🏻
@@DanielPereira-ey9ntconsole players can’t do that

If i remember correctly, there is (or was) a FREE marketplace world about farming, with an add-on on top - also had a shitton of stuff, not as much as here, but it had grapes, tractors, oninos, rice, apples, etc.
You can extract the add-on from the worldfiles (on mobile or windows), and use it like a normal addon: to do this you import the .mcaddon file by clicking on it or selecting „import to minecraft“.
I use it frequently, though idk the name atm. Its a pretty old world though, it was out 4 years ago.
omg yeah i think it’s called Farm Life or something! i used to play it all the time with my ex last year, it was really fun! and surprisingly fleshed out for being free
So the version with more is free and the version with less is $8.00. That sucks lol
They should seriously add some of this stuff to the base game. I’m still waiting for the food/farming update.
I bought this mod on release because I play with my gf who is a huge stardew valley fan and loves farming in minecraft, and I can say we’ve loved the mod so far! Only problem is that lots of these crops in one area gets very very laggy and also the crops aren’t made as well as the ones in the magical crops mod. Normal minecraft crops are insta minable and so are the magical crops, but this mod’s crops aren’t harvestable or plantable as fast as normal plants. Hard to describe, huge pain when planting in large amounts
My only issue with this add-on is how quick the crops grow
Compared to vanilla crops they are "too fast" making vanilla food pointless to go for
Id say this Add-on is worth it compared to getting a 20 pound skin on games like fortnite. Also being able to make tea in Minecraft is the best addon any British person could ask for, im going to buy this for sure
Microsoft banned custom blocks from the marketplace! why they are easy to add (there is a blockbench extension that can do it without much issue) and they work better for block-based things than entities. next I'll learn that things like structures or other cool things that free external addons can add.
I think its mainly the problem with disabling the addon later. Its not that big of a problem to delete an entity but its a problem when a bridge from modded blocks gets destroyed or your base looks like cheese now :/ tho it feels compeletly stupid they cant add structures.
@snezitko still blocks are important to minecraft, but I do see the concern. Maybe they give the option to copy your world when turning add-ons on and off(like how experimental toggles work)
Blocks aren’t banned from the marketplace, but lots of features are currently still considered experimental, especially ones useful for crops.
Source: I worked on this addon.
Doesn't the portal add-on use custom blocks?
Hey, as pointed out, the topic of custom blocks is complex. For Farming specifically we need block structures to allow the crops and trees to grow! This specific feature isn’t available. As soon as it is we’ll be updating it.
3:10 my grandparents had peacocks in their backyard that lived there, I can confirm they make very unique noises
I've been waiting years for this!! The trees I feel could use some re-texturing since they're so bright, and I won't really be using the modern foods too much, I don't think. BUT ALL THE REST OF THE CROPS LOOK GREAT SO FAR! And the scarecrow! Hope they can add planters, crates, and baskets for all those cozy, rustic farm sim vibes!
I'd very much like you to continue buying and reviewing the add-ons, it's very interesting to see how they evolved in complexity and themes. Plus you'll be able to say you own every single bedrock add-on
Another practical use of the farming addon(at least from my small sample size of messing with it), is just that with so many new food sources added in, you’re practically tripping over the things everywhere you look. Most don’t exactly fill the hunger bar in on shot, but I can’t imagine it makes food “harder” to come by at the end of the day.🤷♂️
I still think that they should have put crabs as a food source by default so we have another kind of seafood beside cod, salmon or kelp... at least that's how I originally saw it until they were supposed to be used for building?!
Plus I've always wondered why we never got cooked eggs...
Get the naturalists add on it has crabs plus it also adds more cooked eggs in it!
@@Thereal_Gildose That's cool, but I mainly play Bedrock, Pocket Edition actually...
Which duck is it? Someone needs to port the "What am I looking at" mod to Bedrock as an add-on.
We can use Poggys Better on Bedrock addon and he has WAILA.
🍌 i did as toycat asked. I gave the video a banana
13:46 it is a food this is because of its viscus and nutritional nature and that its added to foods and drinks and unlike drinks it not usually consumed in large amounts by itself.
“I ate buttered toast in minecraft bedrock”
“what did it cost?”
“$8”
I love farming in minecraft. My goal is to one day farm anything and everything that is farmable in the game. Im loving this add on so far. I havent gotten to use it much because i just started a new world with it like a month ago, but pears have saved me once already lol.
Can we have Stardew Valley?
Mom: We have Stardew Valley at home.
Stardew Valley at home:
Hi Toycat. 2 things to say. First thing is you should see ALKALINE TRIO while they are in UK. And also this food add on is actually really cool.
Some of those animals would be cool in the base game. It would be very interesting and give more depth in each biome👍
The first second of the video is literally a jumpscare
Imagine an addon being just as expensive as FC 24 Ultimate Edition and more expensive than Java Edition.
Orange juice should make you regenerate faster
Legit played this like two nights ago - haven’t starved since 👍
It’s basically a dlc (just like every other add on)
try out this seed on chunkbase: -5592633653095784779 has cherry grove inside a mountain ring, with ancient city and trial chamber underneath, large jungle, flower forest, warm ocean, mushroom island with trial chamber underneath, and desert (both the trial chambers are not there on bedrock) also has sculk at y=94 in a crack in the cherry grove mountain ring please put this in seed sunday!
5:00 the naturalist addon has a shellstone block in it that i’m almost 100% certain acts like a real block
Totcat should review mob armor next
I'm not sure if add ons can get more things added on into it if its already made but they should add even more resipys like boiled eggs or something
We can and ARE currently working on an update to the addon to add new features and make the original ones better!
I'll just stick to Farmer's Delight on Java. it's free and adds cooking on top of all that. and placeable meals. so better in every way.
Farmers delight is so much better and I’m jealous. Bedrock mods are payed for and suck (mostly)
Honestly, seeing bedrock mods (because that is what they are -.-) grow is something I am looking forward to, I have seen since like 1.14 I believe all the workarounds developers have tried... I hope the marketplace lets people eventually be able to add more customizable stuff and adds proper support for many of the basic things like *proper tools* and maybe one day full control over what items do and mobs.
Bedrock rn is a canvas with few cheap brushes and java is an entire disorganized warehouse
So then why are you here if you have Java edition?
@@hehasnolips1371 because i have both obviously.
@@hehasnolips1371 I mesn, tbf, bedrock is good in all aspects compared to Java, it is more stable, runs better, it is not a must to use 3rd party mods to make ur game run at an appropiate decent state, extremely easy to setup mini servers for ur friends, bedrock edition has quality of life nitpicks like Redstone being able to connect on a straight line and still plug into pistons and Redstone lamps without using repeaters to direct it to them (though Redstone is not used by techie players in bedrock for other reasons like lack of quasi and how some processes run at random chance instead of a consistent method, but just shows what I mean with quality of life. Java has only the 1.9 update which was not even liked for a good portion of the Minecraft Java Community (though I personally have always wanted to play with it rather than click spam swords) and the modding capability and the modding community behind it. When I bought Java I only thought about the mlds, not the game.
My friends even though had java, we sometimes preferred playing Bedrock, it was less hassle, worked from the get go, no errors most of the time...
I wish all this was free then we would have an actual update
As someone who loves farming in Minecraft this might just be a must have
I have a world where all my family and friends play we’ve had it for 5 years. We have towns citys roads taverns everything. So yes more food 10/10 ima get it
Real Peacocks call sounds like a person with a high pitched voice shouting Help !
3:20 that sounds like a real peafowl
Start a serie of testing add-ons
Would personally just recomend downloading the free mod farmers delight instead, it adds so much more and makes farming actually feel great to use for once.
And I wouldn't call things like oak milk food, they are more like ingediants, to make better foods with.
The farming add on is what I've been wanting for a very very long time
Can’t wait for the new addon stream
Would you ever consider doing an java seed video?
im not mad, im glad the game i love is able to make more money to keep building the game, im a java player but if i was on bedrock i wouldn't mind some of these.
Sadly you missed some of the best parts… like the crow eats the crops, so make a scarecrow etc… also got a lot information wrong… obviously felt you were not familiar with it…. I have played it for days and is amazing. Issue with spawning (from both addons) or spawning in general could be happening if you have the computers add on installed. It is nerfing spawning. Simply remove computers add on and issue will resolve. So much more to the Farming pack that you missed…. But always live your videos… hugZzzzz 🤗
I love farming as much as the next person but I don’t really have alot of money so I can’t
I never understood the desire for a large scale food or farming update for Minecraft. It is a highly suggested feature request, but I don’t see how it really adds much to the game. Crop and Food Farming is such a minimal part of Minecraft that only matters in the early early game, and once you’ve gotten a better food source it is mostly forgotten. I don’t think that having a wider variety changes that.
functionality isn't everything. some people like farming. sure there are other farming games such as stardew valley but farming in Minecraft for some people is also fun.
Exactly what the reply above said. Also, you said that farming is useless, but part of the point of farming mods is to make it more useful. It's far more fun and interesting to find unique ingredients and combine them all to make some food that gives like 20 saturation and hunger
As always, thank you for paying & reviewing new add-ons, so that people know what they're getting into. (There still aren't any refunds on the Marketplace, right?)
Now, if you don't mind, I have something to say about the video itself. This is obviously just my subjective opinion, so take it with a grain of salt :)
I feel like with these types of things (Marketplace content), people are looking for a quick review. So I think the segment where you were looking for a specific duck in your letsplay world kinda dragged out the video. It would've been better if you showed them off in creative first, and then shared your findings (or lack there of) in the letsplay world.
My suggestion would be to quickly go over all the mobs & plants in Creative, then the recipes (not all, but some notable ones), and then, as a bonus, try to search for all of it in Survival. I think this would make for a better and more concise overview of the add-on.
Thank you for listening, and have a good day :)
I would call honey a food over a drink because of how I normally consume it. Its so viscous that I am not sure it is really even possible to drink it, you could pour it in your mouth but you end up thinning it with your saliva to the point that you can swallow it, so its definitely a different process to consume than other fluids. If I am ever going to eat honey by itself I use a spoon, but normally we put it on other solid foods that we eat rather than drink.
Oat milk I do not consider food, but for entirely different reasons. I tried it once and it tasted like someone made oatmeal but added way too much water and you are drinking the excess water that is vaguely oatmeal flavored. I did not enjoy it and thus do not consider it adequate for my consumption. Barely potable.
if they added this to the base game it would add more play ability to Minecraft and so many more hours of play
Would only get this addon if it came to the marketplace pass
Did anyone notice that wind charges don't set off sculk shriekers?
Bro spent 5 minutes in a 19 minute long video looking for ducks
I’m willing to pay for these if they are good and worth it I don’t care the price if *I* like it that’s all that matters
If no one bought retail mods microsink would just release it for free
Who is “drinking” honey!!? Lol. I think it’s a food. It’s just a bunch of sugar, mostly fructose and glucose, that’s quite viscous. It’s a nice addition to tea and biscuits but please use it in moderation!
can you run a for profit cafe / restaurant / grocery store in MC?
10:20 Toycat it's geese not gooses 😂
Test the camera one
So how do Minecraft Add-ons work for Bedrock?
The one bad thing is no burgers or hot dogs
Pairing the farming add on, animal add on, spark portals, and (maybe) the furniture add on is actually a pretty great combo
And the Extra tools one for the tree Capitator and ore vein miner to speed up process of getting stuff
@@jimmystevenson1680 true, feel like having all these mods on a realm with a bunch of friends would be awesome
I legit just bought this last night
I have both deer spawn in my world 🤷♂️
Caseoh would definitely buy this addon
How often does the marketplace get updated?
I like these new mods! Especially naturalist.
This one doesn’t seem as worth it though…
Firstly try the orange juice,
Second I believe this mod, security, computers, decocraft, and naturanlist would probably be good for that rp player willing to pay for it all.
And Third If you want to buy the addons and are making enough from it via youtube, go for it, make those videos
Toycat Do you not know that they have to have the exact same id like say
The naturalist addon has id of
nat:duck
And the farming id would have to have nat:duck in order for it to not work
But no they both have different IDs lmao
Yesss carrots give you X ray vision *hides radar dish from germans*
What type of addons would yall like to see?
You should make videos when your voice is like that!!!
you should try techna ad-on
🍌It would be nice if Mojang added more food options to Minecraft. Maybe if they do update the End more weird and random foodstuff could be found there to make it livable. 🍌

AND ALMOST 500 FOR ALL OF THEM 😭😭
Woah!
this addon is more expensive than the base Minecraft lol (only pocket edition though)

Yes buy them cuz im broke

Outro joke not really funny, 3/10. 17:04- Orange juice has vitamin C, which keeps you from getting scurvy. Carrots have vitamin A, which keeps you from getting night blindness (and eventually, straight-up permanent blindness). But no, sadly, neither will give you owl-vision! 🤷♀️

Honestly this is such a bad direction to go for Mojang and Microsoft. People have wanted mods for bedrock for so long, but having to pay for then is insane
there are free ones too, especially ones that are not on marketplace
