New Releases for the 2024 Nashville Needlework Market

- I am so excited to share my six new Nashville Market releases with you today. I discuss each design, where the inspiration came from, and share the finished models with you. If you see something you'd like to order, please contact a shop in your area or region - either a brick and mortar shop or an online store. They will be so grateful to know ahead of time what they need to be ordering for their customers.
The six new designs were:
1. A Collection of Petite Samplers - five designs in one 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" booklet of 12 pages. Emma Dorl sampler - worked on #36 French Vanilla from R & R. Rebekah Gritman - select a fabric of your choice; Petite Pastel - #36 Edinburgh - cream; Eve Hoff sampler - #36 Edinburgh - cream; Ada Roper - worked over one on a #328 cream linen.
2. Fleur de Alphabets - #36 Edinburgh linen; cream. Worked in Morning Glory from Classic Colorworks and DMC #3747.
3. Flights of Fancy - worked on #36 Vanilla Bean from R & R. A combination of Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works were used with DMC equivalents.
4. My Heart To You Is Given - a 10 page spiral bound booklet with 7 designs.
5. Renee's French Alphabet - adapted from an antique sampler with beautifully formed graceful letters, The letters could could be used to create a tiny pink keep, a small monogrammed pillow, or finished as a small pillow with several letters.
6. When Cardinals Appear - based on the quotation: "When cardinals Apper, loved ones are near". It is so meaningful, and is a companion to last year's Bluebird of Happiness sampler. The model was stitched on #36 Vanilla Bean linen from R & R. Stitch count: 166 x 116" H
7. Limited Edition Kit: An Ode to Red: a tiny little easel, featuring a beautiful vase with pink and green colors. The kit contains everything you need to finish the piece except for the DMC floss for stitching the design.

What beautiful new designs!! I love "When Cardinals Appear" as I always think of my parents when I see them at our bird feeder! Glad to hear your husband is doing good and your great-granddaughter is so precious. Our oldest son that is going to be 38 this year just got engaged so we are hoping for babies in our family again in a couple years. Enjoy market.

Fleur de Alphabets was my first choice for my Market purchases. I just love how each letter is so delicate and you can just stand in front of it and look for the letters. I love how they are placed not in a straight line like typical alphabet patterns. Just had to have it right away. Your designs are beautiful! Thank you!

Hi Judy. Everything you have designed is beautiful. You are going to do very well at market. Thank you so much for your hard work. Unfortunately, we had to attend a funeral today for a friend's daughter who passed after a 5 year battle with cancer. She was only 41 and has a 16-year-old daughter. I would love to stitch the cardinal design for either her parents or her daughter. It is stunning. Have a good and safe trip to Nashville.
Crystal, I can so relate to your story as we lost a dear friend last April who died of brain cancer. Had 2 adopted children and was just a joy to be around. Her funeral was an amazing tribute to her life but so sad. I am hearing from so many who have had dear ones pass away, so I agree, I think that pattern will touch a lot of hearts. I’m so sorry for your loss.

So many beautiful designs. And I must say your flights of fancy is beautiful. I surely hope you would consider charting the sampler as a whole. I absolutely am in love with the full piece and the mix of elements. The large butterfly with the horse rider ❤. The birds and the whimsey of the lower portion along with the absolute structure of the border and perfectly aligned letters in the alphabet. Swooning. I have several must haves on my list for this year’s releases. Thank you for your impeccable romantic designs!!

I hope market was a success for you❣️While I don‘t stitch samplers and those alphabets, I used to do caligraphy and really like your embelished alphabet designs. You had a lot of designs that you took to Nashville, I hope shops got all their orders in. And well done to you for making all these lovely patterns for us to stitch 💜

So many gorgeous new designs! Always a delight to see what's new. I think my favorite is the fancy alphabet because it's so different from the many others available. How fun would it be to use one's initials and add it to napkins or tea towels.
I love that idea, or you could use a letter out of Renee’s alphabet to put on a tea towel too. I just did my initials to put on a project bag.

I really like your Flights of Fancy and the cardinal project. I live in the NW and wish we had cardinals. i still remember the joy of hearing and seeing my first one while visiting a garden in PA.
