    Thank you everyone for liking and subscribing. We are new to this CZcams video stuff so its very rough, as you can expect things will get a lot smoother as this series progresses and into the future.
    Apologies for Audio quality I am slowly getting use to using the microphones.

    Hi Bryce and Lachie, as a former prawn boat skipper for many years here in Sth Aust. I love your videos. Always good to see how other areas of fishing works and I think you explain it well. Keep up the good work mate. I also must add that I have a son and his family living in Tassie not far from where you're based, they are in New Norfolk and one day I want to get down there and maybe even meet up with you to discuss the differences between what I did and what you are doing. Until then keep these great videos going, I love them and I wish you great catches.

      @Aussielobsterhunters  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Funny you ask! Sorry it's taken so long to reply. Currently as of this date. $10 all in per kg. 60$ for reds $50 for brindles no matter the kg.

      i was fishing 20 odd years ago , it was the same price back then most of the year . that was befor quota. i cant see how you would make anything leasing quota?

    • @Aussielobsterhunters
      @Aussielobsterhunters  Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@petervalentine2703 sadly things are really really tight. At one stage we had 10 different prices on the same species weight depending. And upto $40 per kg in difference

    Where’s the majority of the catch end up local or Asia now

    • @Aussielobsterhunters
      @Aussielobsterhunters  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Australia market has always taken up 60 plus percent. Asian market is often the driving force behind the small size prices ect. Sydney and Melbourne drive the big lobster prices. 😀 our lobster travels all over. Can find it in the states aswell.
