Brilliant video as always Kevin, I got asked to do an i10 for prep last week for sales, had covid so was off for 3 day's, went in and got stuck with the 500 arbarth that's already had clutch and dmf done and a gearbox re build, I had to put a re furbished gearbox in it lol

Can you make a video discussing your tools and gear? I would even love to know how your clothes do in the rain. There is nothing more miserable than working in wet clothes all day.
Mini supercharged R50… the amount of engine and gearbox in the space of a cardboard box. An intricate network of pipes and cables. Badly engineered and it’s literally like a size 10 feet walking in a size 8 shoes. Very painful.
In the early days. And a lot of imports. But most European manufacturers uses treated galvanised steel as far as I’m aware otherwise with the grits and wet. It’ll be like a sieve

I had an abarth a few months ago same thing with the gearbox .. needed a new one in the end.

dont cars rust over there in the uk , all the cars you work on have little or no rust it seems ,over here in the states rust is a real issue
