Notice how he didn’t make any claims that he couldn’t prove. They claimed the receipt wasn’t good enough, instead of claiming it is, he challenged their claim of “it isn’t”. He knew exactly what he was doing

They ain't clueless. They know fine well what the laws are. They couldn't give a flying monkeys about the laws. They pull opinions out of where the sun doesn't shine and corruptly attempt to pass said opinions off as law. Hoping that most folks don't know their rights.
Its no wonder so many cops are caught breaking the law when they don't know it, just need them to be charged more for having done so and we will end up with respected officers of the law and peace keepers.

At the top of the V5C it states in big red letters "THIS IS NOT PROOF OF OWNERSHIP!" - Which for some reason everyone ignores - Including the Police!
It's the same with Birth Certificates. "Not to be used for identification".
Thank you (& original video producer), this is really important to know. On the flip side of that V5 document I have heard people getting speeding tickets etc after they have sold the vehicle.
Yeah that happens a lot believe it or not. And you might not know but when you change the insurance or cancel it after selling a vehicle you should tell the you sold the vehicle instead of just cancelling it. For legal reasons.
Happened to me , once when I sold a motor bike , 6 months later was told by the pigs the bike was involved in an incident in Londonstan and the other time sold my car and received a speeding ticket , I insisted on a photo of the car / driver , I then insisted on a written apology and got it

Most people don’t follow up on things. I wish I could give updates on a lot of my video’s. But 90% of the people don’t do anything and the ones that do it can take years for a outcome. When they is a out come I will post updates and outcomes it just takes time

The police are not allowed to get involved in a civil matter nor are they allowed to help baliffs. All they are allowed to is observe and prevent a breach of the police, and if they suspect and one acting fraudulently such as a baliff over stating there power make the appropriate arrest
What a strop. Why do the police service keep letting themselves down? All they have to do is, Turn up establish facts do what is required within the law and move on. The female operator was doing OK until she realised, she was not going to bully and intimidate the van owner.

You can change ownership online & you get a dvla email stating that the registered keeper has sold the vehicle & i bet they would say the dvla email of change of 'owner' is not good enough

You are looking at the wrong law. It's not Public Order Act 1936 but 1986. And it can be committed if you are in a private place but heard by someone outside
Caller: "Help, someone has just broke into my car"
Police "Not enough resources"
Bailiffs: "Defendant is not cooperating, waah waah"
Police: "Sorry but..."

Why are the police 🚔 doing a balliffs job for him the police should remain quiet 🤫 till or when breach of the peace is present
So they want you to let them hold onto the van while they examine the receipt under the microscope to figure out if it's good enough... but you know what they'll do once they've got it, they'll "hold onto it" for as long as possible - they may eventually give it back one day, but they're going to drag their feet the whole time, in the hopes that you give up and just let them keep it anyway. I used to try to cooperate with people in good faith, until I realised how deliberately difficult they can be when it's their turn to cooperate, so my verdict is that this man is being a proper lad by chilling in the van so they can't tow it.

If you know bailiffs are coming for your car, the solution is simple. Get a logbook loan for the smallest amount of money over the longest period they will offer you.
My son got into some bother with parking fines on his van and managed to get a £100 loan over 12 months. The payments were £15 per month, absolutely extortionate, but stopped any enforcement dead as he had no other assets. He kept this up for 28 months and has since continued his longterm plans and is now living in Greece, he even drove the van out there.

These cops have no clue…it says Roads Policing on their uniforms ,,A road policing unit or a similarly named unit in some forces.is the specialist road traffic police unit of the British police…..and these clowns thought a V5 was proof of ownership…it proves they have not got a clue.😂😂

Your conpany got dissolved and before it did you purchased the van registered under the company, for probably a pound, this means that any debt cant be set against your van because you company know longer owns it. you then make this video poor you should oof done the right thing your outing these baliffs now add how much you owe your creditors who will never see their money back.
