I knew that Malenia would get it. Just couldn't understand why she wouldn't use her Waterfowl Dance considering she had multiple opportunities and enough space to prepare. Cause just like with the 2nd stage, had she used it she would have gotten all her health back due to the multiple hits she would dish from the amount of enemies. I don't know, I think the AI was being a little finicky there. But she won nonetheless, albeit with a little struggle.
Malenia could have gotten them all in her first phase if she had used waterfowl, don’t know why her AI was acting weird there.. being very passive and not attacking even when the enemy was pretty close. Also, wtf was that scarlet aeonia? She got staggered out of it?

Radagon did two hundred times better than I thought he would This particular challenge seems like a perfect opportunity to use for just about any boss or combination of enemies for testing, since these worms seem very ubiquitous throughout the game compared to just about every other enemy you’ve used for these vids: - Best Boss, a.k.a. Regal Ancestor Spirit (even if I think it would get plastered) - Crustacean Duo - the ‘standard’ dragon bosses like the Glintstones or Ekzykes - the 10 Royal Revenants pantagana used as a challenge not that long ago - Leonie Misbegotten (who I generally just want to see more of in these type of vids) And so on and so forth
as somebody who has never played the game or any souls games and just watches these videos for the Giant Kaiju fighting aspect, that soldier guy at the end is something else... jesus... it might as well have Cloud strifes Ultima Weapon
The way they spin around while floating and obliterating the bosses is just hysterical. And even funnier, it took me almost 70 hours in game to realize that these things are actual enemies, I had only encountered them around evergaols at that point so I thought they were just an element of decoration.
I admittedly never gave these guys too much credit. I never dismissed them since you shouldn't underestimate ANYTHING in a Fromsoft game, but never took them too seriously. But thinking about it, they are each a collection of presumably solid stone balls. That much weight combined with the speed they can move at, and given that most of their attacks focus on flinging themselves around, any normal person would have a ton of broken bones after just a couple hits.
I used to jokingly call Dark Souls a "3D Castlevania". But now, after seeing Peeping Eyes in stone form, I am convinced that Miyazaki was playing Castlevania series RELENTLESSLY.

Unlike other bosses we fight Malenia is in her prime, her Goddess of Rot form is stronger then she was during the shattering, considering this she is close too if not the strongest rune bearer.
@@SEGA-vs5esI'm tired of seeing these comments. The lifesteal is part of her identity. That's like asking to remove Hoarah's grab attacks.
The opening of the Maliketh fight sort of looked like he was throwing the remains of the dead ones at the alive ones lol
😂😂 that's so true
Astel is a most unpredictable boss in such movies.
Also you'd have done some space between stonies and bosses on start. This can change result drastically.
In my 200 hours of this game, I never knew these little guys had actual blinking eyes, it kind of makes them cuter to me. I also never saw their moveset because I've never attacked any because they're usually just chilling & vibing by the evergaols.
unexpected wholesome comment
13:29 the Fire Giant casually swatting them out of the air was pretty epic. 😂😂😂
Radahn chillin on his dune far away while the laser golem tries to rise from the stone blender he's stuck in.
love how gideon screamed " I NEED HELP!!!!" certainly all knowing at 2:14
Fire giant's fight was exactly what you would see if a toddler with a plate fought some caterpillars
07:05 i think i undertand now why Radahn is so terrified of these things. Then again it devastated an entire settelment and stole its stary sky.
What settlement? And wym by “stole the start sky”?
@@TakeMeToASeeFoodBoil read Remembrance of the Naturalborn's item description, Astel stole the Eternal City Nokstella's night sky. Exactly how he did it or what that means is unclear.
Edit: actually I'm not sure it was Nokstella it might have just been the unnamed city he destroyed.
@@Ballinbutatwhatcost-zm2jhNot Nokstella. The Nameless Eternal City in the Deeproot Depths. Closest to the Erdtree, even!
@@Ballinbutatwhatcost-zm2jhDidn't he also steal their whole moon?
@@TheStraightestWhitest tbh that bit of lore seems a little vague, Moon of Nokstella is supposed to represent a "lost black moon" but I'm still not sure if Astel stole that or if he was messing around in the Nameless Eternal City instead or if it was just another city altogether. Pretty much the only thing I know for sure is that he destroyed an Eternal City and stole their sky.
I always assume I’m not going to watch all the way through one of your videos, and then I do just that.
Gideon was giving his funny speech, suddenly he realized something was wrong
I find it so funny in these challenges when it’s the fire giants turn because I imagine he’s just swatting some flies 😂
The only time I cheer for Malenia is an enemy spam video. That life gain was insane, as to say, "enough of these boring manipulations. I took out 64 Tree Sentinels."
It's crazy to me how rick was able to solo them without even using his signature move magma foul rave. Truly one of the fights of the past decade
The fire giant was slapping them out the air like flies
it was very nice of Rick to let them nearly reach his 2nd phase before showing them their place
I didn't even know these things had an attack. I thought they were just weird fauna in the game
Holy shit, Placidusax Ai in this vid is actually nut, bro basically know and do the “im gettin the f outa here” at the start of the fight, proceeded to breath fire and then use the lightning nuke lol
The moment the battle begins. I need help!!! That’s the Gideon we know lol
Gideon yelling "I need help!" will never not be funny to me
Poor dude 😂
when in doubt scarlet aeonia
Sure win
Ya’ll already knew the fire giant was already gonna lose his ankle almost
Even without the life steal, it's fair to say Malenia is the most well rounded boss. She has the most tools to survive these challenges.
*Most bullshit and overtuned
Love how Malenia just summoned half a healthbar with waterfowl dance in phase lol.
Can Malenia, and her daughters, which are the Sisters of Rot, survive all Bosses?
(I'm thinking the sister could all have either Life steal or blossom thing, up to you)
I think that one might be a bit of a foregone conclusion considering Malenia alone can solo every boss lol
@@manofdaboijerry7687 maybe to make it fair, Malenia is already on her 2nd form only gets blossom while the others have life steal?
@@missyummy1040 this is her final form...........
@@kaiserdetectivegolden2735 what?
@@kaiserdetectivegolden2735 why did you feel the need to correct that lmao, second form final form who cares its the last phase you fight before she dies
2:12 “I knew you’d come, to stand before the elden ring, to beco..
I NEED HELP!”
I wonder if there is a hit target limit on some attacks? Because some of the ones in Hoarah Loux's big slam seemed to just ignore it and I feel like I've seen that before in some of your versus an army videos.
i was a bit worried about Malenia, then i remember she has has a tactical nuke,
6:53 - 7:09 The fight of the century
😂😂😂
This had me thinking that the abnormal stones that are guarding the evergaols actually keep those imprisoned inside.
Malenia's AI does seem to get broken when she gets staggered multiple times without her getting a hit in I've noticed
Chad Rick charging straight into the center after getting repeatedly knocked into the ground just to kill as many of the clusters as he can
Malenia could have gotten them all in her first phase if she had used waterfowl, don’t know why her AI was acting weird there.. being very passive and not attacking even when the enemy was pretty close. Also, wtf was that scarlet aeonia? She got staggered out of it?
Her ai is always acting weird lol when she chokes lol.
Watching the godskin duo get shredded was one of the great pleasures of my night
you need to start raising boss poise/stance for these, half of them just end up in a stunlock and its not at all interesting to watch rykard get poisebroken 15 times every time you set him up in a fight
Godfrey did slightly better than I anticipated, if he managed to get his big stomp, he would have obliterated the pebble bois
Ikr, that was such a heartbreak
The sentient "you know what" beads
watching the 4skin 2some get absolutely blended was cathartic
Malenia refusing to go for a phase 1 waterfowl, and also getting knocked out of her transition attack made it exciting.
Any boss with massive AOE attacks had no problem crushing this.
bosses : I am the scourge of the stars, undefeated and the strongest demi gods
Abnormal Stone Clusters : They see me rollin', they hatin'
Radagon did two hundred times better than I thought he would
This particular challenge seems like a perfect opportunity to use for just about any boss or combination of enemies for testing, since these worms seem very ubiquitous throughout the game compared to just about every other enemy you’ve used for these vids:
- Best Boss, a.k.a. Regal Ancestor Spirit (even if I think it would get plastered)
- Crustacean Duo
- the ‘standard’ dragon bosses like the Glintstones or Ekzykes
- the 10 Royal Revenants pantagana used as a challenge not that long ago
- Leonie Misbegotten (who I generally just want to see more of in these type of vids)
And so on and so forth
as somebody who has never played the game or any souls games and just watches these videos for the Giant Kaiju fighting aspect, that soldier guy at the end is something else... jesus... it might as well have Cloud strifes Ultima Weapon
The stance pressure of that blender is mostly what's winning it, so many bosses just can't even move, that's amazing
Gideon: "I knew you'd come..."
stone clusters :😐😑😐*spins violently*
placidusax looked like he refused to be embarressed by losing to these things. he was jumping around right from the get go
The way they spin around while floating and obliterating the bosses is just hysterical.
The way Morgott jump out of confusion on the eyeball stone balls
Malenia at the start of phase 2: perhaps if i hit them with my scarlet aeo-
All stone clusters in unison: HOW BOUT NOOO
Rennalas fight looked like Australian gang violence with all the boomerangs
21:40 the great rick has finally returned after his nap
I used to jokingly call Dark Souls a "3D Castlevania". But now, after seeing Peeping Eyes in stone form, I am convinced that Miyazaki was playing Castlevania series RELENTLESSLY.
Gideon at the sight of 50 stone clusters: I NEED HELP!
😂
Fire Giant:
Local Man Deathly Afraid of Worms
I always think the bosses need more poise against these types of battles. Feel like you know the outcome of the bsttles after the first one apart from the odd hero. Never the less still great fun to watch!
I’d like to see this again, but only one stone cluster with the power of 50 stone clusters.
the way they line up on the floor at the beginning of each fight is cool and intimidating at the same time
Ikr
"Are you a bad enough dude to survive the stone worm dance party?"
13:31 The way the Fire Giant swats it out the air!! 😂
