I've pondered the unnamed angel, too. It came to me once of Rev. 22:8 & 9 that perhaps John was talking to himself, his post rapture "fellow servant" without knowing it. Anybody agree?...or disagree?
God's tonal music is 6 notes, followed by a 7th half-step (leading tone) to the octave (8th note) & an 8 turned on its side = symbolic eternity ~

I was raised by an Atheist (my dad) and New Age follower (mom) following a counterfeit of Christ.
My mom basically claims she is "Christian" whenever she's called out for being inappropriate/selfish/abusive. I think to give a false "authority" to her choices.
Anyway, so I never knew Christ until He came to me one day (about 10 months ago) while I was desperately calling out for help one night, alone in my living room. The world has gotten so bonkers, and my husband and I were just so scared and lost trying to imagine what world we brought our children I to, and what we could do.
The "bonkers" stuff just started seeming way too coordinated and evil. People are evil, but not THIS wily. Not by themselves. This is the reason conspiracies never hold together for long; people are too foolish. They mess it up too fast to get away with it for long 😂
So, no. This wasn't simply human evil all by itself. This seemed.... supernaturally evil.
And that made me desperate for God. Because, then, why bother with life if perfect Good isn't real and there is ONLY? And the only perfect Good that could ever be would have to be God.
So I reached out one night: "Are you real, God? Who are you? I need you because this is TOO much for me."
My vision faltered for a couple minutes. Like when you get faint and woozy. During that time, I felt a presence too huge and crushing to describe. He was terrifying and yet beautiful, but I couldn't really see Him. I only saw some far away impressions of swirling light and colors.
He made it known to me He is Jesus, God is my "parent" (not literally! I'm not claiming some kind of exceptional divinity or anything 😂 just to be clear) so I don't need to please or worry about doing what my mom and dad want (What they want is for me to be far from God. They want me to be worldly and tolerate things that are evil. So they're angry at me for rejecting Liberal "progressive" stuff and think I'm being a "bigot". I was very sad about it at the time and scared they would destroy my access to other members of my family over it and that I would be hated by my family. Now I don't have to please them to have worth or love!).
Jesus let me know to lean on Him and stay close to Him by reading The Bible.
He told me I am His and that I simply had to see that it was always this way. I was too lost in my sin, especially my arrogance, to see Him before.
I was SO relieved in this moment. Even though I knew He could END me, AND it felt JUST if He did! I actually thought I might die in that moment! And I ACCEPTED that I deserved it! I didn't want to 💀 or anything, but it just felt like I had been SO wrong... 💀 felt just, y'know?
But instead, in the moment I accepted that I was corrupt and sinful, deserving 💀... He flooded me with PEACE. He wrapped me in LOVE. I felt SAFE and LOVED for the first time in my life.
And I knew in that moment, that SECOND, in my soul, that Jesus is my savior and The Bible is true, and that without Jesus I was totally 💀
One minute I thought of The Bible as an important (but NOT holy or true) piece of literature, simply for cultural reasons. 2 minutes later, I KNEW it is the literal word of God, and it is TRUE.
And yet I had NO idea how to read it or where to start!
It has been so helpful to have access to such a wonderful teacher and great lessons. I have learned SO much. Thank you!

If you were a 1st century near eastern human, you would quickly point out that this “little scroll” is indeed a Last Will and Testament, which is the theme of Revelation. The number of seals to be removed was based on the importance of the person, and the Will had to be witnessed by 2 witnesses. The book is literally God giving over the Kingdom to His Son. He has to cleanse the world, which is the tribulation (paralleled to God removing Jerusalem and his temple from them to be held captive by Babylonians for 70 years) and culminates into the conquering to become the New Kingdom. These citizens of the New Kingdom were selected (or elected) throughout the history of the world and are “raptured” back with new bodies to conquer it with Jesus. Just as God created the world in 6 days and then on the seventh sat on His Throne within creation (the actual Hebrew meaning of the verb “rest”), Jesus uses 7 churches to ultimately begin his kingdom (technically started by the 12 disciples, as God started His people truly as the 12 tribes). And as the Kingdom slowly grows on earth (as it also grows in a spiritual realm at the same time as people die), it also parallels the stated mission by God in Genesis to Adam…to go and subdue the earth. In miraculous fashion, God set up that himself (Jesus) would become human to reign on earth (not just in His creation like creation). But this little scroll, as sweet as it is that Jesus is inheriting the earth (which is the contents of the scroll), it also spells doom for all who are not part of His kingdom. Our job is to give the good news of the kingdom.

Hello! I am new to ALL of this. I'm wondering if a Study Bible is a good idea? Does anyone have suggestions? My intial research has led me to the ESV Study Bible. Thoughts?
Chuck used to say, the best Bible is the one you read. Chuck preferred the KJV because of it's age, which meant any issues with it were well documented.

I thinking God knows just about every language that man can speak and what is in their hearts, anyway, the scriptures say that God has magnified His word above all His name, so,🙄 and you have read in the book of revelation I'm sure that Jesus will have a new name, check it out and try not to be stumbled by this truth.
Not trying to be rude. But go and find or look up an actual Hebrew speaking language expert. None of them will ever say that יהוה can never in a million years mean Yahuah
I'm 73 and have many miracles in the name of Jesus. I do know however there are many names for Jesus. One of my favorites is the Word. I read the Word and filled myself with Jesus. There is a great anti Christ spirit in the world today. Have a blessed day.
G243 ‘allos’ does NOT mean ‘another of the same kind.’ Just looked it up in BLB interlinear concordance. It means ‘DIFFERENT.’ Guess that’s why Missler admonishes us to be Bereans, Acts 17:11. Shalom.
Found numerous times throughout the New Testament, the Greek adjective “allos” is often translated “other” or “another.” Sometimes this adjective has the same meaning as another adjective (“heteros”). In other instances, as explained in the following paragraph, there is a noticeable difference between “allos” and “heteros.”
In some verses allos means “of the same kind” and “heteros” means “of a different kind.” In Mt. 13:24 we are told of how Jesus gave “another” (allos) parable. Here allos means this was the “same kind” of teaching.

Jesus came back in the clouds just like he told his disciples in Matthew 24 Luke 21. Read what Josephus wrote. During destruction of Jerusalem in 70ad. Armies and chariots running in the clouds. Jesus said when the armies surround Jerusalem then you will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds
The two witnesses could be Moses and Elijah.

Is it possible that the mighty 3rd angel is none other than Satan himself, trying to interrupt the messengers of God? The wording that John uses is very telling. He "appeared" to have authority from the throne. He roars "like" a lion, and the Bible says that Satan comes as a lion ready to devour. That fact that he appears as a Prophet, Priest, and King and as the 3rd angel messenger is just like the enemy of God to try to pass himself off as Christ to deceive the masses if this angel is not Christ himself.
