Also, normally we only make cast metal partials in our office, however, we have one patient who wants an acrylic only partial (not valplex) and after watching your video for help with fabricating one, we're wondering if this same process can be done on a mandibular partial as well?

And to answer your question, yes you could make a lower claspless partial (flipper) if the patient has good retention from natrual dentition

Which prosthesis is better, this or a cobalt chrome one in terms of function, comfort and durability?
Depending on the patient and what they like or feel comfortable with, sometimes the like the clasps sometimes they don’t, sometime they break the acrylic one so they want cobalt, there are so many variations in this job.

What separating agent are you using (plaster to acrylic separator). I’m having trouble with it coming off in a film during trial packing. (I don’t have ivoject).
It’s all in the way you apply it

The professional grade acrylic that dental technicians use are not sold to the public but if you got connections you might be able to get some. Other than that I don’t recommend making it yourself for many reasons including uncured acrylic may cause chemical burns

I'm missing 14 teeth, all molars, I have 2 left, but I been suffering for 15 years now, and I got upmc health insurance, but it won't pay to fix them and no one will help me, I live off 560 a month for 7 years now, I went a dentist For the first time in 22 years and they said they could help me but it would cost 24 thousand for a full denture that are only 1200 I'm so hurt and confused, all my front and bottom teeth are very nice straight and white I just want a damn partial but its proving to be impossible for me and I'm really suffering and just fantasize about having them fixed but cry because it just doesn't seem possible like it could ever happen to me, I also suffer from severe scalp eczema and all my hair fell out 22 years ago and that's why I stopped going to the dentist but recently got an OK decent wig and got my ID and went to the Dentist but was heartbroken about the cost and lack of compassion, I'm constantly researching and crying I need help I ended up going to a free dentist but found out they only do cleanings and fillings I need one root canal a few broken pieces removed and partials!!!!!! Grrr
It’s hard to evaluate that case without a consultation and in person
