- Tekki Sandan has a lot of very fast sequential hand movements that are hard to follow if you are trying to learn the kata by watching a regular performance. In this video I perform the kata slowly and as clearly as possible to show each individual movement.
I can't believe I've gone from my all Heian kata to now so closely finishing Tekki kata with all your videos, Sensei. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much, Sensei for these truly fantastic videos... and for keeping them up for so long. I find them extremely helpful in times when I can't train as much and my kata get a bit rusty... I brush up a bit and don't feel like such an idiot in class putting 100% effort with the loadest KIA! ... the only one standing in the wrong stance with the incorrect strike etc.Oss!!

Not sure what this poster is saying. This is 100% Tekki Sandan and 100% Shotokan. In Shotokan there are different organizations so technique may vary slightly, but Shotokan is Shotokan period. You don't like it, then make and post your own video.
The performer in the video does something different than Shotokan karate...

Shotokan Karate is being performed, if this one here is not Shotokan Karate?
