I don't really see people bring it up but I really appreciate Hiroshi Kitadani's skill as a vocalist. Looking at these lyrics and how he sings them, they look very easy to trip over.
It also has such a nice vibe to it. Idk how to describe it. It feels familiar, but I don't know where else I have heard something like it. Maybe it's just the fact that it's quite 'Japanese', and that's why? Eh, either way, it's an amazing song.
I came here after finishing episode 1085 of One Piece to remember how Wano started to mark the end of the 4-year Wano journey. I enjoyed the ride and will look forward to the upcoming journey with the rest of you guys. Thank you guys! Luffy will become the Pirate King!
This song hits different now that Wano is finally over. It used to represent a big new adventure in the land of Wano, but now we're moving onto a big new adventure altogether
Toei: "Okay so it's the opening act of the final arc of the penultimate saga of One Piece, still plenty of openings left to go before we're done in like 10 years or whatever. Let's not go too hard." Hiroshi Kitadani: literally composes a song titled "Over the Top".
Honestly the fact that Wano isn’t the end feels so bittersweet but so exciting at the same time. For the entire time skip the strawhats have been trying to get there and defeat Kaido and the fact it’s over and that there’s still so much story to go makes you wonder what else could possibly happen and how much stronger everyone can get.
@@cheeseoh I meant it in the idea that literally all of timeskip up until the end of Wano made defeating the emperors and freeing Wano the entire premise. I swear this feels like it could have been the last op for one piece. For the last arc I mean. Not just for that part of wano. What a swan song for the series right?
I mean we got songs like jungle p, one day, kokomo no chizu, brand new world, and hard knock days but this song was definitely the goosebumps song for me especially when you first see it in show cause you know this is Wano
