I can’t imagine living in a society where old cash is deemed obsolete… and it’s impossible to exchange it for new cash. Don’t see how law and order could be held more than a few days without major uprisings and revolts. Nigerians are very resilient folks!
yes they have to be really resilient ! the situation is complicated
thanks a lot for watching
There is law and order...but not from government necessarily...there's a long held understanding from village culture that they take to the cities when they conduct business...and scriptures are the guide rules...as far as I've seen...
Resilience. Yeah. In 2020, there was a protest nationwide to end police brutality. It was themed #EndSARS (End Special Anti-Robbery Service). The police regularly man handled innocent people. Anyway, there was an old lady who happened to hear that the youth were the ones spearheading the protests. She was very relived and added the Yoruba catch phrase "Soro Soke", which means "Speak UP". She said, the modern youth are so complacent about the injustice in society compared to her generation; that the youth now just spend all their time staring at mobile phones instead of doing anything. So yeah, "Resilient folks".
Hello Ludo, I grew up in Ebute Metta so I am very familiar with that saw mill. Much love my brother ❤👍
Big up, thanks so much ! this place is so fascinating to my eyes, i always feel attracted while passing by
Great recording Ludo- thank you for showing the real Nigeria- Great people dealing with difficult circumstances- Again, Thank you for keeping it real -KUDOS... AEB
The real Nigeria depends on your definition of real Nigeria
I enjoyed the play at the end...good acting and performance...God Bless you africa
thanks a lot for your kind words !!
This is amazing am a product of this place thank GOD hard work pays today am bless hope for the best never give up
thanks so much ! I really appreciate
Seeing the Sawmill Ebute Metta through the drone is beautiful! You've given us the history of the mill since 1930s and its transportation route from the wetlands to Lagos. Impressive. Truly Educational. Sad to see the loss of sawdust, the lagoon MUST be full will all those chippings. Art Factory was the final topper! Had no idea it was in Yaba! Once again, Impressive work Monsieur Ludo. This calls for more Coconut Water Hydration.👍🏾
Foreign nations would use the wood dust to make plywood or particle board. Companies like Ikea, use particle or composite boards for all their furniture. But in Nigeria, there's no such industry. We have to import particle boards in Nigeria.
@Iby Abu, thank you so much for the comment and the coconut Water, i received it !
I will take one just now, i finished the editing of tonight's episode,
only need to encode, upload, do thumbnail and title
@@JohnFekoloid From the looks of things, we need our own Particle Board industry near the sawmill in Lagos soon...😊🤞🏾
@@Ludo_Liu You are welcome Monsieur Ludo. All the best with all that work! 👍🏾
Great job✌✌
I never knew the woods came from the east....
I enjoy the play too💯
thanks a lot for your feedback !!!
I enjoy the art & the dancing. Kudos well done to the actors and actresses. I am glad they created their own stage and audience. Nicely done❤
thanks a lot Chuck Olu, that s nice to see you are still here to support the work i do !
Thank you. The video was an informative description of a special industry in Nigeria. Especially the drone footage told a lot. The art presentation was also a great example of the local culture.
Glad you enjoyed it my dear friend ! thanks so much for your feedback !
Wasted raw materials, the saw dust can be used for kitchen cabinets and wardrobe . Thanks for the video ,love from Zurich
Thanks a lot for watching, yeah I also felt this is precious material and money for people who could use it

Outstanding work, Ludo. And the performers at Bariga are great! Success to them!
Many thanks!! yes they are amazing !!
When you write the title like that, it makes it sound like Mr Pricky got you both escorted out with his Indian Hemp, and his coughing. It's natural, it's a vegetable, it helps with his back.
ah ah ah good to see from scambaiter family member here ! thanks a lot for watching !
😆

Glad you think so! thanks so much !!! i spent a lot of energy in this...
kindly help it and share it around on your social network
I thought they were relocating them to Ikorodu/Imota area. Why are they still at that location? That is hard labour, I wish them well. Thanks for sharing Ludo Liu!!!
Good question, it looks like there is less than before,
i will dig to have the info or go to ikorudu to see
thanks a lot for the support
Yes indeed, they are locating them to that area, which is much better.
1 day de giant will awake from 🇿🇦

An eye opener, I had no idea that wood is brought by River to Lagos. But it takes too long though.
thanks a lot for watching, kindly share the video

yes definitively !!!
I was thinking there was a security incident?? But none!! Hmmm
everything was fine, but it could have become tricky at some point as everybody is struggling

Good evening from USA 🇺🇸
I was very busy at work. I came home lately for personal reasons. But I’m alright and tired.
Anyway, Sawmill factory made for woods to houses, apartments, stores and building any offices. But papers are made by woods.
It was good show at Art Factory.
See you next video! 😊
Good morning! thanks for the support Lawrence ! See you sunday !

It's so bad to see how these people are struggling for their daily living every day to survive... There are so many countries all over the world which are simular like this country... I have been to places like this and I saw the poverty how people survive with just a little they have and keep on smiling every day.of the year. I almost feel ashame but also blessed that I live in a modern western world where there is no lack on anything. I will give a thump up to letting us know by showing this video Ludo. 👍❤from the Netherlands.
thank you so much for your kind words and warm support !
I am premiering a new episode this evening, stay tuned if you don't want to miss the live premiere

Hi Ludo his the Naria problem in Nergeria solve yet., How is your friend doing,. Nice vedio 😊
People are now allowed to spend the old currency.
hope it will end up soon
dave, yes officially allwed, unfortunately nobody accept them yet
The Central bank in Nigeria has given the directive to spend the old Naira notes till December 2023. But people are now queuing up at Bank ATMS to get the cash. Banks were told to open fully on Saturday and Sundays for some time. Till the queues die down.
Vidéo très intéressante et j'ai bien aimé le petit spectacle. .
merci !!! belle journée, a dimanche pour la prochaine video !
Thank you for video.

Thanks man I missed this one so I'm catching up
No worries this is the last one , just uploaded yesterday
Is this wood market in Makoko?
I asked too early before the end of the video.
just on the side of Makoko, you can see it in the introduction drone footage
What a waste of wood and money too, if one of them had a little bit of sense they’d source a way to make MDF or sell the sawdust to farmers.
I was thinking the exact same thing
I can see that you are smoking Indian Hemp in a sawmill, Mr Pricky
They must have edited out all the coughing and screaming
greetings to the scambaiter family :)

🇧🇷Seus vídeos estão incríveis, sensacional, muito bom 👍👍👍.
Obrigado marli !!!
For the video I am giving you a big plus, for the infrastructure I am giving to APC and Lagos State Government a big shame. It's embarrassing to Sanwo-Olu keep saying that "great work continues",when Lagos looks like a swamp. Deplorable roads,deplo-
rable transportation system, hundreds of street without light, illegal activities everywhere, and people dumping waste everywhere. All good infrastructure is only in the areas where rich people lives. Sorry, but Nigeria is far away from sustainable development.
thanks a lot for watching and sharing your feelings !
