Here's a DIY tutorial on how to take your ugly, old, too big, not cute fitting, t-shirts and turn them into 2 different tank tops, one girl and cute the other more rocker and edgy!

Also, I like the tank top layered look where the one on the inside is tighter and the outer one is more baggy or loose. You can take the extra material and make a tie in the back for a crossed knot look

It's so innovative you thought to cut the sleeves off. Super creative idea! To think all those other tutorials go through all the effort of actually changing the style of the shirt and doing work on it when you can get just as many views by cutting the sleeves of! Congrats!

How do these wash? do they still come out the same? the edges don't get messed up?
I realize you made this video a long time ago, but I have tshirts I've wanted to make into tanks for a while and yours was the first good vid I found. I tried the first one and the shirt I used is super thin and I accidentally cut the straps a little too skinny. So I got creative and snipped them at the seam on the top of the shoulder and tied then with knots right there and it actually turend out so cute! Trying the second one next, but going to practice first on a short that doesn't fit me anymore. Hopefully I won't mess it up! I'm so bad at cutting straight lines. But hopefully when I'm done someone smaller will end up with a cute new tank top and then I can do a bunch more of mine. 😁
