    I tried, but could not. I couldn't cut the carpet out from the hidden area which is under the bed. It's so flat and well glued to the ground, didn't want to force it further and cause any other damage
    I think I have to buy a carpet patch, not even sure they sell patches. And I hope I find the exact match. I feel so sad. This one mistake just ruined me! 100% sure I won't get my rent deposit back if I don't fix it. My landlord is a savage

    • @carpetguy
      @carpetguy  Před 4 lety +2

      Trisha Fernandes once those fibers are burned, material is ruined. If minor, can be carefully trimmed with scissors, if deep, must be sectioned out.

      @@carpetguy a company near me fixes burns without cutting the carpet out. I’m trying to figure out how they do it. I think maybe they take pile from other sections and glue it on 😅

    • @carpetguy
      @carpetguy  Před rokem +2

      @@laurenanderson7330 yes, for smaller cut pile carpet burns they remove the secondary backing from the plug and scissor out everything they can from the burn and hot glue it in then trim the height difference like blending a fade on a haircut 👍🏼
