This stetetgy is use in weekly or monthly expiry for good results buz many time i see that in weekly option prices are small so stoploss hit but in monthly option prem is high so we get time to close the intraday positions.what is your view Sir and thanks for extraordinary knowledge in option.

You missed word. "OTM" for Straddle. If we short "ATM" then theta will not decay and earn...it will burn...

Short straddle will destroy you on big event. Just check 20th Sept , 2019, calls went from 100 to 600 and puts only 5 from 100, overall 400 RS loss in a single day, while on an avg you earn 10 to 20 RS in a day. And there are many other examples where puts or calls rose significantly. So friends , be very careful with short straddles. It might give you 90 % accuracy , but 1 bad day will take away everything. Maintain a SL, but not too close.

Does work on expiry day but you need to shorten your strike widths to collect higher premium. Putting you at risk of the market moves big either way. As a thumb rule as a beginner don't trade strategies on expiry day as you have less time to adjust or roll over if the trade goes against you.

मेने module 2 series के 34 ही वीडियो देख लिए है ओर इनमे बहुत कुछ जाना है और सीखा है। आपने हर वीडियो में हर टॉपिक को बहुत अच्छे से समजाया है। पर कुछ confusion भी है जैसे
1.जब आप कोई stratgy बनाते है तो आप p/L spot प्राइस के spred में से stratgy cost को minus कर के निकलते हो जब कि हमारा profit ऑप्शन की premium के बढ़ने या घटने पर होगा जो आपके अनुसार स्पॉट प्राइस(मार्किट प्राइस) के हिसाब से नही greaks के हिसाब से चलती है।। तो ये समज नई आ रहा कि stratgy स्पॉट प्राइस को ध्यान में रखकर बनाये या ग्रीक्स को ?
असल मे इतना complication है कि मुजे अभी ये भी समज नही आ रहा कि मेरा question भी सही है या नही..

It was really nice explanation. How do we get the start of the day and end of the day options strikes data for the past 50 or 100 days for paper trading? Our Nifty does not have the information. I have searched and couldn't find the information. If you can share the website it will be really grateful.
@finbaba Theta is the time value of money and with increase in time (as it nears expiry) the value of theta should decrease but in your excel how come theta is increasing? e.g. 5.00 to 5.11, in last few seconds of the video.
Can you please explains the reason for this.

Sir theta is a theoretical concept, in reality no such thing like per hour or per session price drop, unless you carry overnight. Per hour drop happens only near expiry
If we buy/sell ce and pe.. & if no-one is selling or buying at the time of exit....then what will happen????

at the same day if VEGA increases more than 10 percent will this strategy work.
If you are doing long straddle then Vega will be in your favor !

Sir one question,.. Do I need demat account to trade in intraday options ?
Nope... trading account with discounted broker is enuf for INTRADAY... but if u want to carry forward that shares on 2nd day then demate account is necessary..
extra info if needed : in trading acc you dont have to send your POA to brokers .... in demate you have to send POA to your broker's registered address to gv him permission to sell your shares..
