I bought this intercom and it works well enough. I bought batteries with a button top as the manual didn't specify which to get. Annoying.

Can it work all the way through a house? If I am outside and doing yard work, can the person inside the house use it to call me? You should do a video with another person, so we can see what happens when they pick up the call.

I guess the intercom is more convenient than the phone because you don't need to worry about the WIFI or internet.

I usually don't like CZcams videos for reviews/guides etc. but damn if this isn't the only place that could reliably tell me whether or not the monitor function has to be turned on on the device being listened to or not.
I want these for the house I'm building with my girlfriend and since we will have offices on different floors we want these as an easy way to communicate - though obviously we don't want to be able to "spy" on each other without the other knowing.
So thanks, this clears it up.
