That tournament finale music from back in the day never gets old! I wish they could bring that tournament music back for one episode just to see if it could work!
These teens must be in their forties now because when I watched the teen tournament from 1991, I was a teenager myself. Therefore, they are approximately about the same age as me.
I would have been 3 or 4 when this first aired. I don't remember the teen tournament specifically, but I do vaguely remember this set, and then I remember when they changed over to the grid set.
This tourney saw some preemptions in its original run for Desert storm coverage, as the network newscasts were 60 minutes for a while at the time, which would have preempted it on WABC NY WPVI Philly and WPXI PIttsburgh among others.

Always cool they used the full theme for the final game of the tournaments.
I agree with you! I miss that theme

Before the "Grid Set".
Andy westney is so serious about winning teen tournament, for $25,000 & chris beckner is so funny to his advantage!!
Rest in peace Alex Trebek!!!!!!

All the guys in this tournament were so good-looking... hahaha... and to think I was 3 or 4 years old when they were on the show originally.
I was young, when "Jeopardy!" was came out in 1984.
This is the $25,000 "JEOPARDY" Teen Tournament 1991!
That show stayed with CBS, before they went to syndication.
I was 10 when this was originally aired
My teenager years, were long gone.
Triple duty for Alex at the time
I miss this set, it was brighter. Forever now it seems both Jeopardy's and Wheel's sets have been so dark and kind of depressing.
From Television City in Hollywood...this is the $25,000 Jeopardy Teen Tournament!
Lol
Gotta say it like Johnny G: "The twenty-five THOUsand **dolla**"
rip now entering the studio

WAGA-TV (then CBS) in Atlanta, Georgia, WWL-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Notice that the canned applause that is often used on Jeopardy! today debuted sometime around that time.
The purpose is to document the players in the tournament. There was was a lapse of online documentation of that year’s players.
Just out of curiosity, are you related to Lauren Sager?
For some reason, she only appeared in one episode.
@@MSET1117 She is my daughter. She did not make it to the semifinals. Her sister was a finalist 4 years later.
Jeopardy player introduction is something good to be on TV for years!!!! 1991 teen tournament is now available on CZcams!!!!
Does anybody know where the full episodes are?
This was the best and last Teen Tournament to use the 1985-1991 set.
Trevor Panno last one with this theme too.
It was kind of odd that they had 3 seniors in the finals of the Teen Tournament.
2 days after the Teen Tournament ended, “What’s My Line?” host John Daly dies.

Because you like the theme music.
Does anyone remember how this final went? I was only one year old when this episode aired.
