- If they're gonna revert it in 2v2's, they might as well revert it everywhere else. You shouldn't have an easy time beating more than 1 person by yourself, and all the change does is make the inevitable take longer

I think it's impossible to have a "solo sbr" gamemode, because people will always find a way to team up no matter what, even without chat or server selection.
Maybe make a reward for each player kill ? That could make them gang up on eachother

I played solo sbr maybe like 10 times, its hard and easy at the same time,i got heart by solo sbr, you just need to REALLY blend in at last stage and bam

@@steppa6091 I mean spec's in yba make up a large part of your kit in YBA. I don't blame him for losing even when GER was meta because it wont get any boosted damage (hamon), health boosts (boxing/hamon), or anything else to compliment his kit (vampire or pluck).

Worst thing is this change doesn't apply at all to Aerosmith; a stand with a barrage with both longer duration and longer range on top of a quick pilot to catch opponents, making it basically the god of ganking.
Only punch barrages are affected. Aerosmith, 6P, SCR, and any other stand with abilities that last a while to not have this change
I feel like the update should get reverted it made the game much less fun and its not fun at all while your friends dont have time stop stands and youre fighting boxing mih you just cant even deal decent damage to it since it will just run and regen all the damage you did

I feel like a way to make the anti ganking update work would be to only allow the change to work in main game and casual SBR and leave 2v2s and Comp alone. The reason I say casual is because there is going to be more starters in there and lower lvl players, so disabling ganking might allow players to have a chance at winning and not being ganked. And as for 2v2’s it speaks for it self.
From what I see the anti ganker seems to only be a two dudes can't fist barrage another dude at the same time type of deal

6p,Mr,Hp,Kcr and cd are all now a lot better because they dont need barrage to lock people in place

The thing about being outnumbered, you should never EXPECT to win. However, it'd be a damn shame if you didn't give it your all to at least TRY to win.
The best line in this video in my opinion is that we shouldn't allow people with overpowered mod specs make balance decisions
I remember a long while ago I was able to solo wipe SBR servers with HP Vampire, it's entirely possible to fight a group alone if you know what you're doing. This update is really bad
for me, i NEVER play sbr with other people. 95% of the time (not exaggerating btw) i play by myself. but i completely agree that sbr is a team based game, and i agree that this change should be reverted. its clearly a team based game. i like the challenge aspect of it.

As for me i try to take my friends with me but sometimes i try to solo it on the low i be playing passive aggressive usually. Usually i try to keep a low profile but i’ll try to solo wipe someone if i see them alone in an attempt to thin the numbers without getting jumped

i have friends but teaming still shouldnt be a free win. i have my friends help me with teamers but teaming in itself is still an issue. you shouldnt. be able to 3v1 a really skilled player for killing you (while youre garbage) and win. if you call your friends, theyll call a discord server and have a 2 hr fight. you shouldnt be able to beat teamers solo, but teaming overall shouldnt exist in the first place. so actually, it is a *great* update. my favorite update so far.

I agree 100% with you here because it destroyers the point of teaming or helping your friends in gang wars or 2V2 which what makes YBA so enjoyable, if Uzu see's this please for the love of God remove this feature.
Then name the game your social adventure instead holy shit. I go to sbr stage 4. If you dont speak people will kill you thats how the game works. Another situation you are standing in a crowd and get beatdowned. After the bd ends you have a 60% chance to get teamed on by the whole crowd, a 39% chance that the crowd will kill the sptw
and a 1% chance to continue this random attack 1v1. Im only trying to play for fun its not like I need items

As a Mr. President main, this Change almost completely gutted the stand. Mr. President was only effective in teamplay, which it now lacks entirely. Currently there is no reason to play this stand while alternatives such as 6p or CD exist. Beyond upsetting.
Bruh does that mean mr pres main need to have godly timing and precision and run when it's only useful move on cooldown? Seems pretty balanced to me
@@ana74674 Mr President as a stand is incredibly two-dimensional. It is incredibly easy to use. Using it well however, is a whole different task. The effectiveness of Mr President HEAVILY revolves around the game experience/skill level of the person using the stand, as well as the incompetence of the enemy. To get any sort of damage you are essentially FORCED to get a block break or a parry to get a guaranteed kidnap. It's not so much mechanical skill (such as pluck etc.) as it is game knowledge and positioning.

Eclipse putting this stuff on a plate for uzu and the mods and they still manage to somehow make the game even worse. These mods abusing mod specs and that one time they lose cause of people either being forced to team on them or they actually use skill to beat their broken specs they complain about "ganking" or "too OP stand, nerf it". Uzu should just remove mod specs in general to teach mods how to actually play the game.
So true the pika pika (teleporting) mod spec lets them get out of any stun which is so op, especially in sbr and buffs their damage. They can also move stack with it i believe

In my opinion there should be a vote before the game starts, the vote being something on the lines of : Barrage intervention enabled, Barrage intervention enabled. This lets the server choose, and should have barrage intervention enabled in 2v2’s. By barrage interventions I mean people can damage you when your in a barrage with another person.
Being barraged by two or more people is hella annoying, but I don't think they should dissolve the idea completely. Personally, I think they should make it when being attacked by more than 1 person, DPS is reduced and maybe even damage in general, this would also make sense because in reality, there are limits to where a person can punch. The thing I think they should keep is the comb potential between many people (eg, person one does barrage, after completion of the barrage, person 2 does barrage, and etc). This is a team-like game and it would only make sense if this feature were to exist. Apart from these specific ideas, nothing else comes to mind. Ohh and the first idea may be a stretch idk.
Eclipse could literally replace paragon. Uzu pls hire him.

Try to get the Enemies into a situation where your Stand is better than their Stands. Example: if you play against a group of ranged Stands, try to get close to them.

I played against a CD and a 6P, and i just focused the 6p because its a range stand.

Tbh at this point if a dev loses, they.end up complaining and ut gets nerfed. Like there are so many stands that need balancing and they do some weird.stuff most of the time. We arent the devs so all we can do is make noise and watch tbh.

Mr pres is also useless for the user using it since the heal love is basically useless and it could decide whether you win or not since in sbr, 1v1s, and 2v2s it kick you out when the exit pops up but for the user it kicks you out in less than 3-5 seconds
I've been playing a lot of SBR and I haven't noticed it much despite usually teaming with randoms. Maybe it's because I use D4C Hamon and haha clone spam + gun go brrrt. But tbh it's pretty buggy usually and I can easily still hit my victim clones and gun on two people barraging. And I've seen lots of dual barrages go off. Maybe I just don't notice though.

There are more important things to fix like the many horse bugs in sbr, people being falsely banned (although i haven’t heard this one happening in a while) and more things i can’t think of (excuse my bad english, i am not a native english speaker)

just wanted to say that a great way to make SBR not so ganky is simply adding a random server SBR gamemode where you cant server select meaning you can't make massive coordinated teams. then solo SBR can be its own gamemode.

Guilty gear does a great thing called the developer back yard where the devs will take questions from fans about the game and talk about the changes they’re making before they make it and will talk about their intent with the changes so if they do something like that I feel as tho this sort of thing wouldn’t be as likely to happen as they would have to think about the change a lot more and communicate that with their fans.

It's a pretty bad update but I gotta say that it helped me dealing with teamers, but then my friend came to help me so I saw the problems.

You can block after someone barrages you. You can pb another player's move since they use like erasure or even kick barrage after the barrage
The thing that angers me and make me look down on mods more is that they said they watched the video and give reasons why they think they're still right. Then they give their reasons as to why they think the update is justified when there are specific points in the video where Eclipse literally explained already why they're wrong.
Maybe they saw the video but they just skipped everything and didn't understand or maybe they just don't really know how cooperation works and they want it out of the game so that they don't have to figure out how it does.

Yba is a game adaptation of the anime JoJo’s bizarre adventure, everyone can agree on that right?
In JoJo characters can win against the odds if they play it smart and use the things around them, in yba’s case the same applies, if you play it smart and use things to your advantage you can also win.
Teaming is one of those things you can use to your advantage, and just like in jojo it can improves your odds of survival or decrease them if you’re playing with stands that aren’t great for teamwork.
And as much as it sucks to get teamed on, you always feel great if you manage to win. And the same goes for the other way around, sometimes you need more people to defeat an enemy.

For sbr it’s only because you could one shot in barrages with teams. For instance, you could have a barrage stand, 6p and the hand. when you get barrages, you can get multi shot confirmed followed by confirmed erasure.
this is why I watch Eclipse he have strong arguments even if its an opinion he makes it sound like a fact and I agree on those facts, some stuff dose not need nerfs or someway of making it bad there are other solutions that makes teaming not that affective for example teaming I could just team with my friends to fight teamers easy right

I was trying to get twoh recently yesterday and I did all of the sbr kills and something I noticed as a above average player it was a hell of a lot easier to do 2v1s and I was using tw against like c moon trios
