This game is more than a MOBA. You could build up to 20 air "minions" + the big one to protect the base and up to 20 ground "minions" + the big one to attack the enemy base! Also you could "convert" neutral towers to fight for you. There were also alternative bases you could buy to use them in the same way you used your main base. Imagine how awesome it would have been in multiplayer (i mean, more than 1vs1, on the same PC or LAN)
Well, not only to defend, you could use jetchoppers to assault enemy base if you had outposts points and big enough lead that losing them wouldn't give enemy points to win.
This game was so amazingly underrated and never sold as it deserved to. One of, if not the favorite game from my childhood. I'm getting ready to order this from Amazon to relive this awesome game.

The Future Cop disc that I've owned for literally my entire life seems to be scratched. The game always crashes on two instances: When loading the cutscene for Studio City, and when loading Urban Jungle in Precinct Assault. So I've never been able to play Urban Jungle or progress through singleplayer without unlocking levels with cheat codes. :c
At least that's playable haha! My Fallout 3 disc that I got from CeX crashes every time a Sentry Bot appears. Literally the only reason I've never completed the game
They're nothing alike really. Airmech is RTS where you fly around and command units your character. FC:LAPD doesn't allow you to command your units, it doesn't have almost any RTS aspects, or even flying.
they should definitly release a sequal to this game but give it a new name rather than futurecop 2 so that people would think its just a new game and the marketability would increase!!
Well I don't think they'd add online multiplayer for a two player game and an old ps1 game. It's still got local co op and two player competitive mode.

Just FYI it's kind of unstable on Win 7. It works sorta, but it's a bit finnicky to get working. Win XP it was pretty much fine though :)

Fantastic two player precinct assault mode. Playable for hours at a time.
The bug hunt mode where everything's reskinned as insects was my favorite. Good game.
