Looking back at this year’s later, I’m starting to realize that Season 5 was probably the most stacked season in ABDC’s history. Poreotix, Bluprint, Hype, JB, and Static Noyze all would’ve been finalists in just about any other season.
I know this comment is really old. Hype 5-0 took a big risk doing the taunts in their performance because it could have been misread. In a dance battle, taunts like the ones Hype 5-0 did are very common. There was no beef with any of the crews and there was no malicious intent. Hype 5-0 treated it like a real dance battle. I've never heard them say robot tutting isn't dancing. If anything all those crews still keep in contact and are very close to this day. They all did marvelous.
hype 5-0 was the true underdog of this season (although i preferred jungle boogie). they were almost eliminated in the first two weeks and wound up finishing third. props to them
if only they were as original in their last chance performance as they were the rest of the season. from week 4 on it just felt like they were recycling moves. that last performance definitely would have won them the trophy though, if they would have been given the chance.
It's funny because every time "America screws up" by putting 2 of the best (if not the the 2 best) crews in the bottom 2, the Judges always pick the wrong ones. S2: Supreme Soul vs Super Cr3w. SS shoulda moved on. S4: Rhythm City vs Massive Monkees. RC shoulda moved on. S5: Hype vs Poreo. Hype shoulda moved on.
ahhh that would have been awesome to see what people would have said about their last chance performance!..thats soo cool though! they won in my mind! Poreotics came second and blueprint..third! thats just my opinion...
it wasn't a mistake. kaba was good and all, I like them lots, but Jabbawockeez is definitely not a mistake. All in all, I think the final should have been Jabba vs Kaba not Jabba vs Status Quo :/
U know its kinda a cawencadence how there from Honalulu Hawaii and some of 8 flavahs r from there 2 and they both got 3 from btittanni spears 4 there challange i just thought that was kinada cool
poreotix is the best in my opinion.. they were good at what they did.. and like they said dancing shouldnt be serious so they put comedy in theirs.. thats why they won... but hype 5-0 should of been 2nd... the only thing about hype 5-0 is that they diss the other crews to much and were sore losers.. at least bluprint was happy for poreotix to win... not say that "they suck and robot tutting is not dancing" like hype 5-0 said after getting kicked off

totally agree with this. super underrated crew! I feel like Hype was as good as or even better than a lot of the more popular crews on the show

If you wanna be technical they almost were eliminated in auditions and then week 1
they were the most underappreciated crew.

I think the top two crews shoulda been them n Blue print, I like Poreotix but Hype 5-0 n blue print r in a whole nother level
