- Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp celebrated with the travelling fans at the end of a massive 5-0 drubbing of Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Liverpool fans went through a gamut of emotions and songs at Old Trafford as they watched the goals fly in, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s consolation goal chalked off by VAR which also saw to it that Paul Pogba was sent off after his booking foul serious foul play against Naby Keita was upgraded to a red card.

The day we rolled up to Old Trafford, destroyed them in there own yard, with one of there greatest players on the pitch, a club legend as there manager, and there greatest manager of all time watching in the stands! Mo is not a great player. He scores in bunches v teams off form in big wins but hasn't scored in the two games since v Brighton and West Ham which will cost Liverpool the league ultimately. Scoring the winner in tight games is much more valuable than 3 in a 5-0 win. He hasn't scored since March for Egypt (6 games) and has only scored in 1 of Egypt last 13 games! That's not world class

And what is there to talk about anyway? 14 fans went to prison for manslaughter. Liverpool were banned from Europe for 6 years, and the other English clubs banned for 5 years (The actions of English football fans up and down the country and abroad for the preceding 20 years helped to see to that). UEFA, as usual, avoided any responsibility. Football has changed beyond all recognition both on and off the pitch. And thank god those dark days are gone.

Right, rivalries aside - tell me if I'm wrong. Back in the 90s, a young United team came to Anfield and played Liverpool off the park. I think the final score was 1-3 to United and almost half of the team consisted of kids - Beckham, Giggs, Scholes and the Neville brothers. As the teams left the pitch, large swathes of Liverpool supporters applauded the United team, for the show they had put on.
I wasn't at Old "Trafford last week, but it did not appear to me that any such praise was offered from the United support. Did anybody witness any applause aimed at the Liverpool performance?
Agreed. I was there for that game and the Utd team were in fact applauded off the pitch by LFC fans, it was a young team a there was no point in being churlish about it they were a young team and played well in a hostile atmosphere …

Remember, once upon a time, that our Gaffer had to tell fans to stay until the end of our home matches. About how many Liverpool fans would you say, how large is that section of the stadium?Well, that text there, "There´s nothing on Earth like being a red", was obviously true to the both extremes.Imagine if Liverpool needed to score some more, if this game was on the last round, and the trophy would depend on goal difference, say 9 -goal win would take us past ManCity to win the EPL, or something like that... Some studio showed MunA´s biggest league home defeats ever, there was one 1-7 -result about 100 years ago, and maybe one 0-6, but otherwise 5 goal defeats were highest. In that sense, 7 would´ve been nice, but this is fine as well :)

I have been a Liverpool fan since I was a kid in the 70s and I have waited to see this a long time but I am not so happy about it. I want to beat United 5-0 in a competitive game where we have to block shots on the line, maybe they hit the woodwork and our keeper might have to save a pen, and we win a huge battle in the midfield to run away with it at the other end.
Not so much satisfaction kicking them when they're down with a washed out Ronaldo - unlucky his consolation goal didn't count, it was a stunning strike - and Ole out of his depth. We could have easily scored 7 or 8 but Jürgen realised at 5-0 ok boys this isn't really funny don't score any more. Like Germany did at 0-7 in Brazil, that could have been 9 or 10. I have to admit that it was a touch of class from Pep to realise this from the word go and just make his point with 2-0. YNWA
