Great video and a very neatly tied rig. Can I ask why you chose a choddy (out turned eye) as every other video I have seen on this rig has used a wide gape/curve etc.
Hi Gilbert. My D slides to easily on the shank under tension/pressure. Do i need to apply shrink tube with a thinner diameter? Im making it with a Klor size 2.

You can slide the loop on and off and so only change the hook if damaged to such an extent that you cannot resharpen it.

The gape created by the out turned eye on the Choddy hook aids the rig’s effectiveness. I have not yet list a carp on this rig.

Definately, try the thinnest diameter shrink tube you can pass over the hook eye. This will sort out the problem.

Will this also work well with a pop-up?
Even easier to tie, just look up videos for the “Multi rig”
Withy pool rig is similar for a pop up.
