very cool how you guys allow your customers to come in and piece the build together under supervision and guidance. i think that's an extra step all shops could take. good job, boys
I wish all gun stores would allow you to build a gun in their store, they teach you the ins and outs and how to put it together.
That is very a very patriotic thing to do.
Yea seriously. If a local gun shop did that near me I would head up there tommorow!
Hey, they have build a bear for kids. Why not build a AR for adults.
you probably dont give a damn but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot the account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
I was really blown away how easy is to assemble an AR-15. It's kind of addictive once you learn how
Recently bought three more stripped lowers....Let the fun begin!
@@qcontinuum514 I'm gonna build a m16a2 ar15
@@sd0384 A little confused. Are you building an A2 version of M16 or an AR15?
Are you able to make machine guns?
I build my own computer setups, so when it came time to get an AR build, I followed suit and built an AR. More pride of ownership, money savings, getting what you want and passing on what you don't.
Øath betrayer both a computer and an AR are adult legos. Super easy with the resources we have online like CZcams, Reddit, other forums and even random websites.
I bought a M&P15 for like five or six hundred bucks and the custom I’m building now is almost double that in just the upper. You can build one cheaper or waaay more expensive. I figured if I’m piecing my own together I might as well do it exactly how I want it
Anthony 3CartMerchants
Well? How’s she shoot?! Lol
I’ve got two 16s an two pistols and even a 22lr but no long range. Not sure which caliber I want yet. Deciding on 308 or 338. 308 would probably be much easier to source parts but I’m leaning towards the lapua right now
@@Spoons7414 When I eventually get around to an AR-10 (probably next), definitely going .308 here, though the reason is I already have a bolt-action Model 70 in that caliber so I have the ammo. Otherwise I'd consider .338 Lapua or if I wanted something lighter then 6.5 Creedmoor. I really like .308 though, but I've maxed out at 400 yards with deer hunting, so I'm no expert.
When new stuff comes out that I like I don’t upgrade a rifle I already have, I use it as an excuse to start another build.
ME TOO! Gives me a reason to start another build. Why do I need more than 1 AR? Because I can! MEERICA!
John Fitting hmmmmm... that’s a cool new dust cover... TIME FOR A NEW RIFLE!!
John Fitting The only guns I buy are the ones that I can’t build.
@@treroney4720 I wouldn't be flexing that brother keep on the down low
@@treroney4720 but keep your rights
One big thing about building your own is you can spread the cost out, coming up with the 600 or so to buy a complete one can be challenging but 60 this week, 100 or so in a couple more weeks and before you know it you have a rifle and one built to your preferences
There’s a lot of places that will work with you to spread out the cost of a factory built rifle, too.
CHUD but you don’t end up w the rifle until all payments are made. Might as well build one and have the product forming in your hands rather make payments and POOF there’s a rifle in the mail or at your local FFL A
@@Docprepper If you can find the parts you want, you could do that. Nothing wrong with building. My comment was directed towards someone who wants a factory-built rifle but may not have enough for a "high end" brand. Up until this year, I never found a factory-built rifle that had everything I wanted. I would've had to change the handguard, or the stock, or the BUIS. In that sense, yes, it would be better to build one. BUT if you find a factory-built rifle that you really like and has what you want, there are places that will work with you to get that. The OP was saying spend a little here and a little there and you eventually will have the whole rifle. It's no different with making payments on a factory-built rifle; you make payments here and there and eventually you will have the whole rifle.
@K W Bro you think just like me I couldn't have said it any better good comment champ! Btw I'm looking for a good lower parts kit minus the trigger and grip, you wouldn't happen to have a good recommendation do you? right now I'm leaning toward the enhanced strike industries one it looks like a good bang for your buck kit...
@K W Could not agree more.
Great video . Was just in a store in Florida and was asking if they did a class or taught how to build AR's. The fact that you guys have benches for users and help instruct is amazing. Wish I had a place like this here in north Florida.
Robert Scudder CZcams
You are very informed and well spoken on this subject matter, a refreshing contrast to the poor information disseminated at so many gun shops.
This dude knows his shit!
I have to say I am impressed! I live in Kentucky and I still have yet to run across a gunshop that is putting out helpful videos and offering a work bench and the knowledge for new gun owners to utilize if they need it. More gun shops should offer those services without looking to charge when a customer buys a AR that they want to build. Good on you guys for helping to make it a great experience with your purchase. We need more like you.
Thank you very much, “Colombo”, for demystifying all of the parts needed to build my first AR-15. Your presentation was professional, clear and complete! I “Liked” and Subscribed.
Excellent video. I definitely learned something from this.
Outstanding video. I actually began the process of building my first AR a few weeks ago when I came into your store. The staff has been awesome to work with.
Great video man. I'm starting my first build. I'm extremely familiar with the colt m4 and the m16 a4. However in the civilian world I avoided the hype and fads. Now I'm ready to build one and this channel helps. I hate the channels that say beginners, I may be new at building but I'm well experienced on operating said rifles and more. So I dont need to be talked down to by someone who has never been shot at.
Just started buying parts for my first build so I'm glad I found your video. Thanks for all the great info!
Awesome stuff guys! I enjoy seeing good people supporting their community!
Love the fact that you assist new builders right there in the store. Bang on mates.
Spot on information in just the first 2 minutes alone. Glad I found this channel. Keep it up
Probably the best summary video on build-your-own that I have seen. Well done!
Great video! Love it when everything turns out to be this simple!
I really wish I had a store like this near me. Id even take a nice little drive to get there. Helping people out with a build is the coolest thing, keep it up guys!
Thanks Benjamin, We keep it going because of people like you! Keep being the Patriot that you are!
Very informative wish my DI was as calm and patient as you seem 😍
Wish I had watched this a long time ago. Took me a while to learn this on my own. Nice job
This video was made 5 years ago from today (2/25/2021) and it’s still one of or the best AR-15 break down video’s. This video helped me out so much ......good video guys keep up the good work
I wish there were more shops like yours. You seem very helpful, and willing to take the time to make sure ppl are educated on w/e it maybe that they are buying/building. I live in Portland OR, but If i am ever in your area, i will be stopping in w/o a doubt! Thank you for taking the time to make these Vids! Keep'em coming!!!
Very informative, I like how you got directed appointment explain without overcomplicate, kept it simple awesome job!!!!!
I have built 8 ARs from 80% lowers I machined myself and Cerakoted myself too. Very enjoyable and satisfying when you pop off some of your reloaded rounds . Built 5 different caliber AR15s. About halfway through my fist AR10 6.5 Creedmoor. Fun stuff
Outssstanding!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 So well articulated and conveyed, Ranger. Appreciated.
Nice, I was aware of the basic parts, but with all the choices out there, I now have a little more insight.
Man, I wish I lived close to you guys. Having a place to go and talk to someone and build your AR and figure out what you need would be pretty amazing. Thanks for the video and the info! I may make a road trip out there and stay a week for a build!
Thanks for putting this video together. If I'm done in that area, I'd love to visit the shop.
Thank you so much for this! Makes it a lot less intimidating to build one, which I'll probably do now!
Awesome video. Thank you. Love the fact that you have a bench that people can utilize to build
This is a great video I know a decent amount about the ar platform and firearms in general but I do like watching videos even about the basics I still learn something everytime even if it's the most simplest of things I always learn. Great informational video!
Great video! Really enjoyed and can utilize all the info!
Another great video! So glad I subscribed to this channel
Just wanted to drop a quick comment for READYGUNNER, received my order on monday, a cmmg LPK, and a magpul moe trigger guard. Great customer service, you guys called me up, let me know that it was out of stock currently, and If i wanted to wait for it or not. I'm over half way done with my build, can't wait until it's complete. Defiantly not the last time I order from Readygunner!
This really helped a lot. Been years since I owned an AR and would really like to build my own. Salute!
beyond informative. Literally answered every question ive had about buying and building an ar.Thanks
Excellent video!!! Outstanding, outstanding, outstanding!!!! Thank you.
I love your store. you guys are all awsome and very knowledgeable. Ready Gunner will always be my go to store
Kinda funny I find your channel a week after I seen your shop driving to my buddies Airgun shop down the street from you. Shop looked great from the outside. I'll stop in in May when I'm back in town for some Chizzler shooting. Great video btw...been watching a ton of AR build videos.
You are very good at these video presentations, Ranger.
Excellent video thanks for taking the time to make it.
This video helped a lot I debated with whether I should buy a pre built rifle or just build one but I like the sound of being able to just build my and maintain my own. I’m really new to the ar world tho so this is very helpful thanks
I've been asked why build when you can buy. you confirmed what I felt.
Nice presentation. i have curts discount guns here in portland oregon. working on my first ar build and my first purchase was an armors wrench.
Nice i live a couple blocks away from curts on mcloughlin. I've owned several ar15s but im hoping to get my first build going soon.
One of the best videos I have seen, great job guys... I suggest you post a video where you go step by step of buying parts and assembling a top notch rifle with a max budget of 1500.
excellent excellent video! just what I was looking for thank you.
Very awesome and educational, I’m thinking of building my own as my first for the exact reasons you stated. Thank you for the information, would you be able to provide a complete parts list and suggested brands for the parts listed?
Awesome. Very cool of you guys
Awesome vid thanks man
This is by far one of the best videos breaking down AR's I've seen on youtube. It was educational and definitely informative to an individual who was initially intimidated about attempting a build. Thank you.
Nice video. I love the extra service of providing a workspace fit customers! New sub here!
Great video! Thanks for all the help
Great video.
Really cool you guys offer help and a bench in store to put together your rifle.
best video on ar build yet. all the others talks on how to put it together not so much on the buying parts process.
straight to the point. great video.
Thanks for the build and explanation!
Nice Nixon watch👌 that’s my favorite. Good video too👏🏼
Great video! Thanks for doing it!
What a good dude and awesome shop!
This is by far the best video in building an AR. You provided the essential information that I need to start working on my AR from scratch. Great video and instructions!
Very nice video. I'm getting my first AR and want to build it with a 80% lower and this is extremely helpful.
Awesome video, very informative!
Nice learned video I am in a different situation in Kalif. I order the cheap grip and muzzle device then I have to lock the stock.
I use the old hammerhead grips on every AR along with the same and trigger however I do need to install the 3# spring kit on the latest AR I get the pull down to 2.25-2.50# with moly-z powder.
Thank you for taking the time. I build my own but would love for you guys to relocate to Greenville, SC. It's not difficult to build them as many gun dealers will have you believe. Some (one in particular) are outrageously condescending.
Could you list the parts shown with prices please?
Very informative. Wish I was in Utah. This video made it less intimidating for me considering I’m just getting into this. Thank you
absolutely the best ar video's on the interweb
Excellent! Really helped me get a handle on the build I’m contemplating.
Great video!! I will be doing my first build soon. This made it less intimidating.
I just got my Canadian version of an Ar-308. Bcl 102 to be exact, and i Love it! You see in Canada we can't legally own an Ar-15 without a restricted P.A.L permit so i settled for the non-restricted version which is the BCL , Now I just have to replace the trigger for a 3 pound pull rather than the five pound pull on the ,mil-spec one.and maybe the buffer tube and the stock, then the brake replacing it with the 5/8-24 cadex muzzle brake and i'm set!
Good overview so thanks for posting.
great Video. I'm building my first AR and will be ordering all my parts from you all.
Like great info and the longer video element. Where was this video, when I started to build my AR-15... Great video!
Great that you have a bench in the store!
Very informative video. I'm a covid owner and shooter so I'll be checking out the videos. Thanks for this one big time.
great video man! exactly what im looking for
Great introductory video to ARs
thank you for going through every part (or kit) needed and NOT showing us every little pin and where it goes! I've never built an AR (or any firearm!) and this was a great resource for beginning my research/education on AR builds. I know what key components I need to start shopping without watching an hour long step by step!
You are welcome! Please feel free to contact us and use us as a resource. You can contact us at readygunner.com. Honestly the more people who know how to build an AR the better, its all about education. If there is a video you want us to put together please let us know and I will see what we can do. Thanks
awesome stuff, great info
outstanding video ,and just subscribed
Thank you ! Great video and simple
Great video!!
Thank you for the video. Just what I have been listening Iooking for. Got my lower receiver now comes the fun part.

😂
Dude I live in Utah, sweet! I know where I'll be going soon
Oh yeah you guys are right off the Provo center street exit heck yeah
Yoo great video man!!!
Super thorough thank you!
awesome vid. thanks brother! !
I wish we had a place like yours where I am! Y’all seem like you actually care!
Wished I lived out there man great video. Seems like a great store
This helped a lot, thank you.
Great informative video!
@12:08 you can make the barrel less than 16" without nfa paperwork: first it can be 14.5" barrel with a pinned muzzle device and the second is to make an ar pistol
Every gun I have ever bought the first thing I do is take the whole thing apart and then back together. Know your gun. I love seeing who different guns work.
Ordered everything got dd mk 18 upper forged lower with dd lpk sb pdw brace
Great video. Thank you.
Great video. I will start making my list after I pick a color.
Really like your shop and the video was 👍
What I did= I bought a complete lower with the trigger and stock that I wanted. Then I bulit an upper from scratch. I picked the barrel I wanted, the free-float handguard I wanted, along with a custom charging handle and bcg I wanted. Voila, I got exactly what I wanted.
