Mary saw a disabled guy drop something on the floor. She came up to him and returned the item. Upon noticing that he was in distress, Mary asked if she could do anything. The guy seemed to struggle with his condition and asked Mary to help him get home. When they arrived at this place, they saw that someone robbed it.
Mary couldn’t leave this poor stranger in such a situation. So, she decided to stay and aid him. She didn’t know yet that the man lured her here on purpose.

She already explained why she did it because her husband was always jealous and insecure over the littlest things so she recorded as proof to back up her allibie that she wasn't doing anything so that he didn't think she was cheating despite the fact that he was the one cheating all along.
