Jon Bernthal aka Shane from The Walking Dead was a great choice for older brother Michael. The acting in this episode was top notch!
I was waiting patiently for you all to see this episode 💯🤣 This episode was GREAT!! It got on my nerves now 🤣but I really enjoyed it. I was yelling at the TV for Michael to throw that fork!!!
This episode made my nerves bad in the best way, I had to watch it back to back. I told y'all this show is one of them ones!
Btw this episode and the actors in it are eligible for any awards in this upcoming awards season. We are sure to see a plethora of nominations!
They never say Papa Bear is dead, he left when Carmy was too young to remember him. Richie refers to him as a deadbeat in season 1.
This episode is a litmus test for navigating dysfunction. For some it's shocking, for others, it's just the holidays....
I think it’s apparent why this show won Emmy’s, Golden Globes & SAG awards. The funniest part was the tuna casserole.
In S1, “Dogs”, Carmy mentions that he barely remembers his father. You’re not the only reactors holding their heads during the reaction.
This show won for the wrong category. It’s not a comedy.
@dp20024 Agreed. Succession has more comedy than The Bear, and it's considered a drama
Pete is a legend .
@@dp20024they won as a comedy?!!! God Hollywood is so damn gaaaay
Just that timer alone was driving me nuts! 😩
And shouts to yall for not watching more after this episode. 😮💨
They have never addressed if the father is dead or alive. Hoping we do get an episode about his backstory. As for emmy awards. They haven't announced the 2023 nominations yet which would include this season. Hoping Jamie Lee Curtis gets a nomination for guest appearance.
Best thing to do is to watch or listen to something really silly and funny afterwards. Gotta release all that tension!
This episode always hits so close to home for me 😭😭 it’s why I don’t ever do holidays with family anymore
It's not this wild, but this episode hit home for me... too real, well, maybe 50% of that insanity lol
The next episode is better, good come-down from this stress 😆
It's a amazing episode
An
10:28 TASHA PLEASEEEE!!😂😂😅 I had to leave a comment for that, I had to. LMFAO never change. My God, the cackle I let out hahaha
lol but Jamie Lee looks younger than the character still, had to be some makeup to make her look haggard
She is still no Angela Bassett though
For real though. That shxt had me _howling!_ 😂
Oh The Bear for sure is going to win everything again come this Emmy awards for this episode!!
The most recent Emmys that aired in January were for season 1 of The Bear due to the strikes delaying everything so it couldn't air last year like it normally would.
I guess its different for everyone but speaking as someone who's family is from the Caribbean, our Thanksgiving dinners would be cooked the day of (or at least most of it was). And it never started on time. It's just understood that if they say 7:00p, you should be there between 9:00p-10:00p cause that's when the food will be ready. Then we plays games after that which could last up until 1:00am.
This could just be my family though idk about other people.
9:46, Noooooo, you gotta watch Forks, don't stop now!
I could not watch the rest of the season for a few weeks cuz this episode was STRESSFUL. Amazing!!
Yes Trey that shit was insane man!
My family had stressful dinners but nothing like that lol! 😂
This is the one I've been waiting for 😂😂😂
4:20
Funny enough you should ask that because you're a basket of biscuits ❤
I'm with you Tasha! This episode made me physically hot and anxious for a whole ass hour!
The casting director went CRAZY this episode!
Yeah Tasha I agree with everything you said we don’t do that shit in black families lol
No this isn’t a White people thing, it’s a crazy family thing!😁💗
why do i have a feeling s4 will have a flashback episode of kid carmy
only think i can compare this to as far as uncomfortability is THE RED WEDDING from game of thrones
Most normal white family Christmas 🎄
How in hells name is this video less than 20 mins long when this is an hour long episode?
this episode made me pause lol
Wife: "What does he mean by she look like a basket of biscuits?🤔"
Husband: (glances at wife up and down) "Definitely something good😏"
Somebody gonna be buttering biscuits tonight LOL!😉😜🤣🤣🤣
Y'all should watch " The power "
I love this show, but this is the episode that got me bitching about this show being in the comedy category for awards. IT IS NOT A COMEDY! Yes , this episode had a few chuckles but my God! This was one of the most intense family DRAMA moments I’ve ever seen on TV.
