I have read in the Coda technical manual you can use cuttings of bicycle inner tube to hold the inner races and bearings into place. If you don't have the special tools that is.

Is it possible to completely remove the internal suspension from the headset and also the bellows, still keeping the fatty fork turning it into a rigid fork?
Should hereby the headset be exchanged or could the now exceeding 5-6-7 cm after the removing the bellows easily be cut away, where now the fork would stick practically to the headset?
The slight downwards rotation of the frame and the reduction of the clearance under the bottom bracket are taken into account.
If all possible, how would the procedure look like?
    Thanks

Would clamping the fork for example in a bench vice make use of the jigs superfluous? Very well done btw. Skillfully assembled.

Hi- do the bearings come pre greased or does it need to be done during assembly? Thanks
