  • This Navajo jeweler makes "storyteller" bracelets. His rich family tradition is being passed on to his sons. This historian knows more than most people about his family history as well as the history of the Spaniards who came to the Americas. His jewelry is beautiful and reasonably priced. Please enjoy his story.

I'm sorry but that's not true, all the pueblos were slaves and the Na ba ho lived with the Spaniards for a hundred years first in Lupton A.Z and trade there trades with each other and then the Na ba ho teach the trade to the zuni first and so on the pueblos were craftsmen on pottery

im sorry but this info is not accurate. Tohajiilee is situated west of ABQ 20 minutes. the Navajo Band of Canoncito were amongst the first to trade with the Spaniards along with the pueblos. Mainland Navajos claim to be trading with The Spainiards first but the pueblos and Canoncito Band of Navajos were. lupton Az was founded after the long walk in 1868 and Albuquerque was founded long before in 1706.

@@PLATEROINC the Spaniards lived among the NaBaHo in Lupton A.Z called the greens valley in the 1600 and early 1700 for Tohajiilee (Canoncito) band of NaBaHo worked with the United states Calvary to round up the natives for the long walk ,that's why back in the 70s if you say you were from Tohajiilee a member of the AIM would beat you up, and Tohajiilee natives are light colored with light color hair ,that's why they live close to Albuquerque for protection from other natives that they help captured and as far as trade the Spaniards worked with the NaBaHo and learned the trade of silversmith that's where the last name Estitty comes from it means silversmith in the Na Ba Ho language and then passed it on to the Zuni friend ,the name NaBaHo is the original name given to us by the Anasazi means field people one of the only word left in the world that came from Anasazi.
