Ryuji is like Junpei and Yosuke when it comes to intelligence and Yosuke is smart for his group which doesn't say a lot because his group is an m rated scooby gang, however you see in Junpei that he matures more than the rest of the group and you will see that Ryuji's confidant has more depth than the other members of the PT except maybe Futaba's. and the only thing Ann has on Ryuji is that she does better in english which is only because she is quarter american. Ryuji was able to pick up on Akechi hearing Morgana (whilst yes we don't know if Ann picked up on it or not, it still was impressive that he noticed it) and that stunt he pulled of at the end of the Shido palace would have required knowledge of the speed needed for him to make it up to that point and one could assume he would of had to have came up with a way to survive the explosion himself.

But even in regards to their situations, I would say Yosuke is stupider because the rest didn't get stuck in a trash can they also didn't fall for Saki who is kinda the worst, at least Chidori appreciated Junpei's company and Ann clearly showed that she cared about Ryuji at the end of the Shido palace. Also notable: Ryuji and Junpei had abusive fathers whilst it is implied that Yosuke's parents treated him well and even had him helping with the business.

Because she's awkward, smart, underestimated and ladylike. She is strong but makes you feel needed all the same. I mean I get where you're coming from, futaba isn't to my taste at all.
