More VRAM is good only if the device has separate VRAM and RAM. But for this device 16GB RAM is shared with VRAM, so if you set VRAM at 8GB, you will have less RAM available, in some games it will be insufficient RAM. 6GB is the sweet spot for balance between RAM & VRAM.

Yes, VRAM is adjustable in this device. You can choose between Auto / 3GB / 4GB / 6GB / 8GB VRAM.

It depends on games. I notice a 10% to 20% performance increase in some games on an external monitor vs. the legion go’s screen.
