I love how realistically parents are portrayed in this show. We perceive our parents as being invincible, and don't see that they're merely human beings until we're much older. Bandit admitting his flaws is refreshing to see in a kids' show. We should all have parents like Chili and Bandit.

When the kids play rough with their parents sometimes they never mean anything bad of it they just look at them like they’re invincible and know-it-alls and don’t realize that they’re also people who have their likes, dislikes, boundaries, and don’t know everything and that they aren’t perfect. That’s the thing kids should definitely understand at some point.

Then that smile when he realizes Bluey helped clean the mess and suggest they make the head out of the neck of the Duck Cake, also I doubt it's what they had in mind, but when Bandit screams out "Duck Cake!" Bin Night is another excellent example of Bandit and Chilli communicating well with their children and parenting as a team. When Bingo is talking about what happened during the school day, Bandit doesn’t rush to give Bingo advice. Instead, he just listens and lets Bingo be heard while validating her feelings. Then, it’s clear that he’s discussing what he heard with Chilli after the girls have been put to bed, because in the following scenes the morning after, Chilli steps in to offer Bingo advice on what to do in the situation. Another takeaway is appreciating the little moments with your loved ones. At the end of the episode when Bluey is thinking about being a scientist when she grows up she says “Maybe I can invent a robot that takes out the bins for you.”, to which Bandit responds “Oh, I hope not!” This shows that he cherishes the time that he’s able to spend with his daughters and be a parent to them, even during a mundane activity like taking out the garbage bins.

I’ve heard everyone talking about how Bandit is an amazing father, but… am I the only one who noticed that he kinda spoils his girls? I mean, Bluey and Bingo often unintentionally hurt their dad while playing with him, which is obvious since they’re still young, but the thing is… Bandit does nothing about it. He like, never corrects them when they move too far. He basically teaches them to be disrespectful towards him. And sure, he may teach them various important life lessons, but he doesn’t teach them any boundaries. Just imagine when the girls are teenagers and start making an usage of him, because he never told them „no” during playtime, even if they meant bad…

I think Bandit is my favourite character, and Bandit and Chili are my favourite parents ever. I completely get those days where I just need that break, but want to make the best of the kids lives.
I try to be real with them, but some days, cannot.

Something that I think needs to be highlighted about #7 on this list is how Bandit praises Bluey for her progress after using the tool he provided her, even though she was still being disruptive and impolite. A lot of parents make the mistake of only scolding their kids when they do something bad or wrong, regardless of how hard the child tried to behave or how much they’re improving over time. It’s always important, in my opinion, to fully acknowledge how difficult many things can be for children (such as waiting and being patient) and to praise them when they are doing better than they did before, even if it’s only a minor improvement. If you focus too much on what your kid is doing wrong, they might end up believing that they’ll never be good enough no matter how hard they try.

I love Bluey especially when a bird dies and Bandit comforts Bluey. I also love when he tries her and Bingo's food but he gets sick and turns green, but at least he gave it a try. My favorite episodes are the yes no button where Bluey presses no a lot, lol, and where she tries to ride her bike and sees the other girls struggling with things on the playground. Bandit encourages her to keep trying after seeing the other girls successfully accomplish their monkey bars, water fountain and backpack struggles, so adorable 😃😍❤️. But, I love all Bluey episodes, I just need to watch season 3 after finishing season 2.
