This is a professional quality instrument used by touring musicians around the world. Check it out in our Didge Project store!

My favorite moment with someone who played a didgeridoo was they had a homemade one and played it from my car window as I drove slowly in a small village. Literally best memories and that was 11 years ago. ♥️
Getting ready to buy one from ya
music to my soul! Miss you guys ~ these videos soothe that a bit! I feel I need this one to travel with.
Happy to hear from you Angela. Wishing you many blessings and thanks as always for your support!
@@didgeproject ~ so much love. 💛
Respect!
You actually don't need to push the different parts all the way in to put it in the bag. Leave each part a a couple of centimeters out, and secure them with the rubber rings that comes with the instrument. The bag will still fit. That way it is easier to slide it out again. And put a piece of cardboard in the tube below, to prevent the tubes from sliding in further or moving while you transport it.
Thanks for the tip. Do you have a WoodSlide? If so, is there anything else you'd like to share that may help our viewers?
@@didgeproject Yes, I have a Woodslide. You can see it in my avatar actually. I have some tips, yes. First of all: this is not an instrument for beginners. Once you extend the tubes beyond 1m70, it becomes quite challenging for a beginner to get a drone. Secondly: to combat moisture: rotate the tube now and then while playing during longer sessions and always extend both tubes fully for drying. Also: when receiving a new Woodslide: measure the positions of the dots on the wooden tube, and take good note of this. These dots will wear off after a while. Every woodslide is different, so it is important that you can restore the dots if you need to. And lastly: if you contact the maker, he will send you a document that explains how to play all the notes using the dots. The basic config is to keep the brass tube on the first dot, and move the wooden tube for different notes. But other positions are also possible.
@@dominicodicocco thanks for this.
this thing is powerful :)
I have a pvc type of telescoping didgeridoo. It's real nice.
Most likely not comparable though. I also have an Airdidge (telescopic carbon fibre). But the resonance isn’t comparable. Airdidge is perfect when you can’t bring anything else with you.
Good works by Jean yves redor!
Yes indeed. JY is a master craftsman
Any tips on how to play Ab and Low G? I’ve got trouble playing those two lower notes. Thanks!
How would you feel about laying down a track on a groove based tune?
Would be happy to do it. Shoot us a call or email info@didgeproject.com
Geiles Teil! What"s the price? I bless not more than 500 bucks..

Nice Didgeridoo, can you tell me somethings about the "trumpet" sound intonation? Thanks a lot xD
Are you looking for info about the trumpets on woodslide, or just about the trumpets on didgeridoo in general?
only on the woodslide, i have also one thats why i ask you about.
@@roanfu411 there is not much info available, but check the trumpet tones that you get using a chromatic tuner. at each slide position, take note of the drone and 1st and 2nd trumpet if you can play them. cheers!
I mean only when I play C on the woodslide the first tut is C# an the second Bb.
Can you actually bring this into the cabin in a flight? How long / wide is the bag with the didge in it?
Hey, I believe you can carry this on a plane as its not longer than a standard guitar. We don’t have the case length measurement at the moment but I will post here when we do. Cheers!
Looks like someone finally made a wooden trumbone mummy.
Yes, actually this company Woodside has been in business for over 10 years, however they are just starting to get into international distribution, which is why we are now carrying them. we are so excited to have them!
Your demo wasn't in all 12 keys, there was a range of about 7 keys max
We didnt play them all but they are there
low g was b sharp
We actually didn’t demonstrate the full range of the WoodSlide in this video. we just gave a few select notes
its cool but i dont have money for all of that
It’s an expensive didge but probably the only one you will ever need if you want to do stage performance and studio recording
