      @@arjitagrawal4240 JASO MA2 lubricant (eg. motul 5100) for bikes with wet clutch, which needs extra acceleration since anti-slip clutch additive added. JASO MA2 is not fit on scooter since the engine hidden induce higher engine temperature excalete higher friction thus it needs friction modifier additive added lubricant. If it's hard to find JASO MB lubricant, you may use 10w40 engine oil, API SJ or higher. it would good enough for the Suzuki Address scooter.

    In Indonesia, Suzuki motorbikes are the brand with the best quality materials. I like and enjoy this Suzuki Address motorbike. Comfortable, sturdy frame, fuel efficient and very easy and cheap engine maintenance. Even though many official Suzuki motorbike dealers have closed in Indonesia, getting spare parts is still very easy here.

      Thanks! Yes it’s an awesome scooter for a city. Join the ‘Suzuki Address 110i’ owners group on Facebook and see how happy people are. Everyone seems to love them and they’re well built and reliable. No build quality issues or common faults. Regular servicing will see you through a lot of miles 👍

    That was awesome thanks, very patient and very thorough. Would it be possible to list all the tools, consumables, oil etc. in the comments section. I can just imagine starting the service and finding out I am missing a measuring jug or a means of measuring the spark plugs. That electric screwdriver make/type would be useful too?

    Hoping to use this video later on today to help me! Ran low on oil and added some old oil to it that was too thin. Hope that taking off everything and cleaning it out myself will save a trip to the garage! Really helpful video, hope I can get it sorted using this!

    .A video for valve control had been estimated. How often should such a thing be done ? km?

    • @MechitBetter
      @MechitBetter  Před 5 lety

      Thank you 👍 The valve clearances should be checked first at 1000km, then at 4000km and 8000km, and then every 4000km after that (12k, 16k, 20k etc).
      When I get around to checking mine, I’ll make a video of the process.

    New to scooters and thinking about buying this model in Thailand.
    A few questions -
    1) Does the bike require valve adjustment as well? If so, is it locknut or shim. I'm assuming locknut.
    2) What's the secondary short lever for on the left (I assume the left lever is rear brake like a bicycle)?
    Awesome video. Will come in handy should I choose this or a similar model. Also looking at the Fazzio.
    Thanks again!

    • @MechitBetter
      @MechitBetter  Před rokem

      Hi. This bike will need the valve clearances checking occasionally. If they need adjusting, they are of a locknut type. It’s very easy to adjust them, but they rarely need adjustment anyway. The left lever is for the rear brake. There short lever in front of that is to allow you to lock the rear brake on if you need to. Perhaps if you’re facing downhill etc. it acts like the hand-brake in a car. I hope that helps. These Suzuki scooters are excellent 👍

    Good guide, though you should have mentioned that there is a small 0-ring that sits between the oil filter and the engine that can come out attached to the oil filter, it's important to check this has not happened and if so then put the O-ring back in place on the engine, using a clean screwdriver passed through the O-ring as a guide.

      For only having a 110cc engine this little scooter is a flying machine. Iv had mine hitting 70 downhill, not that I ride it like that as norm but its a great scooter and can hit 50 pretty quickly. You have no quams about joining carriage ways or fast roads worrying about getting up to speed cause its just not an issue. Great video. 👌

    Hi thank you for the videos they’ve helped me out on my address on many occasions.
    installed a new battery about a month ago but today my address won’t start on the button ? Just wondered if there was anything I could check ?

    • @MechitBetter
      @MechitBetter  Před 2 lety

      If you have a multimeter you can check the voltage before you start it. It should be around 12.7v if it’s fully charged. Anything near 12.2v is low. Then if possible, see what the voltage dips to as you try to start the bike. If it drops drastically then the battery could be damaged. It has been cold though, and the battery is only tiny on the Address. Cold weather will make it harder to start so the battery needs to be well charged. Of course, it could be a different problem entirely. What symptoms are you getting?

      @MechitBetter  Před 4 lety

      Hey, thanks! There isn’t a manual that’s publicly available. The Suzuki dealers have one for their own mechanics, but I’ve not managed to get them to share it yet! They have usually been willing to do me a little print out from it if there’s a specific job I need to do. It might be worth asking your local dealer. You might have more luck than I’ve had. If you do, send me a copy! 👍

    Drain the gear oil on the side stand, not the center stand. When filling the gear oil put the bike back on the center stand. If the gear oil starts to leak out of the filller hole you have the correct amount of gear oil in the housing.
