Happy to see Munda take in an A-320. I remember stopping by here from Gizo on the way to Honiara in 1997. The runway was unpaved and it could only take in an Islander which we flew (or Twin Otter). If ever China invades and occupies over the Solomons (as it is now maneuvering to project power in the South Pacific) it already has two major airbases to gain: Munda and Honiara.
