  • We hand-pumped a Benjamin Bulldog 357 from 0 to 3000 psi. Detailed data were collected for the process and we discussed the feasibility of only using a hand pump for this PCP big bore gun, without buying an expensive PCP air compressor.

I pump mine 10-20 times then release pump pressure over and over. Makes it get to 3000 psi way easier and faster.

Sent you an airgun with no air in it? Ouch.
Mine came half filled to keep the seal.
Either way thank you for this valuable information. I am going camping and am wondering if this effort is worth it for just a few shots. It’s on family land not in a park.
Thus why we can do that.
    Very grateful

Are Vevor handpumps not compatible with Benjamin Bulldogs?
I cannot get the female quick connector to connect to the male end in the gun.

There's probably a huge difference in hand pumps as some are 3 stage and others are 4 stage pumps.

What sucks about the bulldog is you do all that work for 10 shots lol. Which is why i only shoot mine when i really really wanna shoot it.
