Thank you for providing such useful information. I am on FLR and will complete my 10 years legal stay in uk in 1.5 years, I was told by couple of solicitors that I can sponsor my spouse on my current status. I was about to apply for it and just saw your video. So I can not apply for my spouse to come to uk if I am on flr?

This video was really helpful. The income requirement, though, looks like an unassailable mountain. The language criteria looks tough too - due to poverty and civil war my wife received no formal education. She can speak some English but is self-taught. I've not spoken with an immigration lawyer as I think any application would fall at the first hurdle. I simply don't have the income. Depressing doesn't begin to describe this state of affairs. I haven't seen my wife for 2 years because of Covid. I fear our situation is beyond help.

2 ) if worker goes is there any impact on work permit and If a migrant worker switch job in later years will there be any loss or problem to ex- employer

Great video! Just wanted to clarify, all documents can be uploaded online now? Would I need to physically bring documents (bank statements, letters, contracts) to a visa centre as part of my application or can everything be uploaded to the official visa gov application website now? Also, during the biometric appointment, I was advised that after submitting all documents online and paying for the visa and healthcare surcharge, that all I'd have to do is go to the appointment and bring my passport to be handed in. Is this the current procedure now? Thanks for your help 😊

Hi thanks for the video, I have been watching so many videos on spouse Visa's which technically all the same. I am a English National living in the Philippines I have been here and Married for a Filipina since 2012, we also have a Daughter together.
so clearly we are a true married couple not just some one getting married to just get a visa. I like to know as I not have a job yet in the UK but would like to return to the UK but I'm not ready to leave my wife and child here in the Philippines for a year or more just to prove I will have an income.
Why is it the my wife would also have to prove her English level and pay a fee for this yet the Government is allowing Non married foreigners in the to work for up to 5 years with out having to meet the English requirements, We not have saving as we live in a country on very poor income, and I not able to prove any income as I not have work yet in the UK ( I'm an HGV driver) so work easier to find. Also I have had mixed information regarding the 18600 min wage, some say this is the income for the UK national and some say it is a combined income that both of us could be earning as my wife would be allowed to work under a spouse visa entitlement??? also why is it sir that a spouse visa is only 2 years9 months yet a working visa for a non UK national can be up to 5 years and is a lot easier and cheaper to get??? I'm confused on all of this and I have not even been able to apply yet for the visa for my wife

Hello please I came across your videos on CZcams..I will like to ask a quick question about my partner's visa application
I am a British on carers allowance and my partner is a Nigerian...we are due to apply for his fiancee visa in the next few weeks , my question is
He doesn't have any savings and I don't either but I met the adequate maintenance route..do we still need to have savings in our bank account? Or with the adequate maintenance we are covered with all my other benefits

Is it possible that we BOTH can go TOGETHER to UK instead of spouse going after 6 months (on spouse visa) of my arrival in UK? Can the University sponsor her? Please guide in detail. Thanks.,,,

    Hi sir,
I am planning to apply for the unmarried partnership visa in the UK switching from my current Tier 5 visa.
My partner has dual citizenship (British & Romanian), in this case, which route should I take?
EU family settlement or UK unmarried partner visa?

if the wife is getting carer allowance and the husband who is on 1st 2.5yr spouse visa but is jobless but they have their own house to live in, do they still have to meet the strict 18,600 financial requirement? If not, do they have to show any form of income? If yes, then how much income they must show?

    • @GSNImmigrationLtd
      @GSNImmigrationLtd  Před 3 lety

Hi Sunny, if your wife is on carers allowance then you will have to meet the adequate maintenance and accommodation requirements instead. This invovles a complex calculation. We can help you with an application with the best chance of success. Please get in touch.

Hello. Great video, very informative. Quick question. My British partner and I have been together for 9 years and been living together overseas for almost 7 years. He is now looking at relocating back and we are now looking at applying for unmarried partner visa for me. He is divorced and I am separated (my ex abandoned me and uncontactable so didn’t manage to sort out the annulment). Will this affect our application for unmarried partner visa?
Also, my partner, since he’s been living overseas for a long time currently doesn’t have a property in the UK or close relatives who can accommodate us temporarily. He plans to buy a property when we get to the UK. What are our other options to meet the accommodations requirement? Thank you.
