I think the plane to Unst was a Dash 7, I remember being told that Unst had a very short runway and that was the only plane of that size that could land in that short a distance. The platforms were very impressive in their day, I visited North and Central, I don't think I ever went to South. Central seemed huge at the time, and I remember that VR mailbox. cutting edge technology for the 1980's. I think there is a lot less going on out there now. Good stuff, thanks for posting.

Never worked on central but did the hook up on both southern and north

Worked on all 3 in drilling, worked decommissioning North, what a laugh on all 3 Ninians.
