Darth Vader, the man, the monster, the Killer, the destroyer, the Dark Lord of the Sith, beneath the mask, beneath the mechanical devices, beneath the hate... There is a man who had LOST EVERYTHING in a desesperated try to save the life of his beloved wife. There is pain. There is sadness, there is regret of what he did, there is a hidden light, there is Anakin Skywalker. Ironically, the most feared man in the galaxy, the monster who every people fear and even fear more than Darth Sidious, is only a man who have his heart broken. Not twisted. He lost his strenght and his powers after his most humilliating defeat on Mustafar, by his former master, Obi Wan Kenobi, and he's serving a being more powerful than him, and he only have his master and his desires to kill him, but he can't. Vader, Skywalker, whoever who is, is not a monster really. He only hides his emotions on a metal mask, inexpressive and creepy. And he drowns his shames killing people as he can, expecting a day to finally destroy his master and redeem what he did. Fortunately, that day came when his beloved son beg for his help, showing him that he can be a hero once final time. Personally, this is my favorite Star Wars character. He can represent any of us very well. Even more how can Revan, Katarn, Starkiller or Rendar can do, and i'm talking about characters that are very cool. But not so deeps like Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is.
The story of Anakin Skywalker is actually so sad. Like as Vader he suffered many things. Like the death of Padme and his mother, him betraying his best friend, making his son his worst enemy and he had to live in an uncomfortable, clunky suit with outdated cybernetic limbs. He was lied to by Palpatine but knows he cannot kill him so he has to live with him. Its so sad! :(

It’s cool how it has the Jedi tune in the middle to show that he still has that bit of dark side. But once he realized he couldn’t save her, it’s gone, hence the classic Vader tune to no lyrics. God the chills as you can slowly hear the symphony morph from a more traditional Jedi theme with what almost sounds like Luke’s theme into the Imperial March, absolutely devastating, that moment where he knew Padme was dead marked the beginning of Vader, and more so, the last of the morality of Anakin.
Tragic when you realize, this man was just had 3 of his limbs cut off and was left to burn by his former master, and his first words when he is reborn are asking about his wife.

The true merciless dark lord Darth Vader was born when he lost the most valuable thing - his family. Before that, everything he did had a goal, he had motivation. All for which he sacrificed himself was to save his family. But Anakin lost everything he fought for. He hated the whole world, himself. Having lost the meaning of life, he became doomed to suffering and henceforth only existed, not lived, hence the cruel Darth Vader is born.
One day, fate brought him to his son, the flower of their love. He began to make sense of his life again. After so much suffering, he found a family like the light at the end of a tunnel that he never expected. And this time he was determined not to lose it anymore. Now Darth Vader is dead. And then Anakin Skywalker died in the arms of his son.

Piece of trivia for you: We now know that Vader doesn't actually speak due to the damage in his vocal chords, he has sensors in his computers that read the vibrations that he makes and speak for him with a 99% accuracy of translation. There's a solid chance that when he stepped down, instead of saying "NOOOOO", he was actually just screaming, and his voice computer's closest detection was "No." Recently learned that!

Man Star Wars is amazing!!
Darth Vader, the man, the monster, the Killer, the destroyer, the Dark Lord of the Sith, beneath the mask, beneath the mechanical devices, beneath the hate... There is a man who had LOST EVERYTHING in a desesperated try to save the life of his beloved wife. There is pain. There is sadness, there is regret of what he did, there is a hidden light, there is Anakin Skywalker.
Ironically, the most feared man in the galaxy, the monster who every people fear and even fear more than Darth Sidious, is only a man who have his heart broken. Not twisted. He lost his strenght and his powers after his most humilliating defeat on Mustafar, by his former master, Obi Wan Kenobi, and he's serving a being more powerful than him, and he only have his master and his desires to kill him, but he can't. Vader, Skywalker, whoever who is, is not a monster really. He only hides his emotions on a metal mask, inexpressive and creepy. And he drowns his shames killing people as he can, expecting a day to finally destroy his master and redeem what he did.
Fortunately, that day came when his beloved son beg for his help, showing him that he can be a hero once final time.
Personally, this is my favorite Star Wars character. He can represent any of us very well. Even more how can Revan, Katarn, Starkiller or Rendar can do, and i'm talking about characters that are very cool. But not so deeps like Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is.

The story of Anakin Skywalker is actually so sad. Like as Vader he suffered many things. Like the death of Padme and his mother, him betraying his best friend, making his son his worst enemy and he had to live in an uncomfortable, clunky suit with outdated cybernetic limbs. He was lied to by Palpatine but knows he cannot kill him so he has to live with him. Its so sad! :(

This song brings tears to my eyes, which doesn’t happen a lot. It doesn’t help to think of how tragic Anakin’s life has been. The sadness, the regret, and the sheer despair of Anakin and Darth Vader. To think he used to be a young, innocent padawan child who was sadly manipulated by the sith.

The man becomes a new HELL by GOING through hell. and The first thing he asks is the safety of his unbeknownst dying Wife. That No Vader Screamed was Anakin's defeated outcry.
A broken man who lost everything , his wife, his children, his best friends, his mother , his family, everything. As he was tortured as a slave at start to a Sith Lord who was broken and tortured had nothing else in his life to do and just hear himself doing his breathing every time in the suit he suffered in for the rest of his life and forever and only had his children with him.

It’s cool how it has the Jedi tune in the middle to show that he still has that bit of dark side. But once he realized he couldn’t save her, it’s gone, hence the classic Vader tune to no lyrics. Great symbolism. Wasn’t until Luke that he felt the love he had for Padmé bringing him back to the light. Such a great character arc. Best of any
God the chills as you can slowly hear the symphony morph from a more traditional Jedi theme with what almost sounds like Luke’s theme into the Imperial March, absolutely devastating, that moment where he knew Padme was dead marked the beginning of Vader, and more so, the last of the morality of Anakin.
