Is the AUTO CAPTION feature of IG also considered a type of VOICEOVER?
for example: I just created a reel that was simply a video of me talking while I filmed, and then I used AUTO CAPTION to have the complete text appear w/in the reel.
Or is VOICEOVER only when you add audio AFTER filming? (like in this tutorial)
And one more question please:
I added text (CTA) at the end of my video, but the last word of my AUTO CAPTION stayed on the screen ’til the very end (even though I ended speaking BEFORE the end of the video). I would have preferred to have this last word disappear, leaving the last frames of the video solely available (‘blank”) for the CTA. Is there something I could have done to have made that last word of the AUTO CAPTION disappear? (hope that’s clear!)
A voiceover is when you use just the microphone to speak over a video of you doing something else! So it's a little different than the video you first described.

Can I merge a prerecorded audio with the visual I want to upload or is it only a option to record actively as you’re posting whatever reel?
You can add any pre-recorded video to an existing audio (that is already in the app). Uploading your own audio is more tricky!

You are a great teacher....The main issue I have with reels is that they don't play the full reel... even if it is only 15 seconds long... and I know they do on other reels that I see posted... do you have to pay them to play the whole thing.... or do you have to have a certain number of followers for them to play the whole thing.... thanks for your help
Before creating your reel, make sure the time option is changed to 30, 60 or 90 seconds! Also, make sure to choose an audio that is the right length for your content!

Where should I send my application to? Incase I wanna do a Voice Over for Ad Commercial should I submit my application to ad agency or ad film production house? How should I send a voice sample or anything?

Hey, could you tell me one thing? Some are famous reel makers makes their own original audio, like a voiceover and it sounds like a bit AI. So, I wanna ask how I can do this when I don't wanna copy someone else audio, but I wanna get same as my own original audio?
I mean, I wanna make a real in which words will be mine but the voice over will be somebody else's. So, how can I do this? And that voiceover would sound like a AI and so much high quality.??

If I wanted to search for audios to use based on an idea I have, can I do that? Like searching “pregnancy/funny” or something like that? Is that in your free class? 😊
sadly, the search feature on IG isn't that intuitive! you would have much more luck watching reels on the explore page and saving the audios you felt were right for you!

You could! It would probably work better to record the voice over in the app, though!

Hey, if I make a voiceover can anyone use it? Is it then on Instagram audio and available to everyone? That’s what I’m looking to do..
Try creating the voiceover in inshot first and then upload it to ig! that would make it an original audio that anyone can use.

My version of Instagram doesn't show a microphone option icon in edit mode...? What am I missing?
Might be an update! In the final edit screen, tap the music symbol icon and then look for a voice over option!

I am at your reels class right now, and there are a few things... You are asking us to drop questions into chat, and the is no chat on my class page... I haven't even finished your class, but it seems that all of your reel information is on film and video... I am older and most of my reels come from photos, and to be honest half of what you are teaching I don't even understand... Do you have a class that is made for less tech savvy individuals?
You were watching the class replay, so the chat was not available! Sorry!! I think reels will perform better and grow your reach if you create a mix of photo & video reels. Sorry I cannot be of more help!!

Why I don't have the microphone option at the top ? 😫😭
You might need to go to your settings and give Instagram permission to use your microphone!
There is no microphone. I have the iPhone 14
After an update, the microphone icon has been moved to under the music icon in the final editing screen!

There is a microphone when you done with you reel then in the next page where you edit your video text etc there you see a sound thing touch on it then you will se on the top there are four options one of them will be microphone tap on it and do your voice over 😊

I’m wondering why I don’t have all those options above on the top tab. I’m missing a couple of them . So I don’t have a option to do the voice over thing for example because it doesn’t have the microphone 😮💨🥹
Make sure that your app has the most recent update, and that you have selected the music symbol before looking for the microphone!
