I feel a little better seeing you had the same experience as I had. Holes blown . Check. Broken tabs. Check. Regroup order thinner wire. Check.
    Lol

I’m running 25 amp’s with the petal to control it. Gas lens with 1/16 tungsten, I was using 3/32 tungsten but to big for low amps for me here. Glad to hear others are breaking the bends😂. It gets annoying though maybe a little thicker material and it would’ve helped with this cnc design by them. Overall fun little project if you got the time and patience.

It's an attention getter. I put it on my toolbox at work, and people that never stepped a foot in the shop came in to look at it.

Thin metal, tough corner-just lay wire start arc ON filler and it will join the corner smoothly. Something like that I’d use .035 wire.
Also I’m interested in your gas flow the cup you are running should leave clean tacks.

Can this be done with flux core mig? Wife got this for me for Father’s Day. Good excuse to buy a tig, maybe??

I just got this the other day. I didn't know the metal was so thin. And so far every piece I've tried to bend had just broken apart lol.
Thanks for this! Now I know I need to go get some smaller tig wire.
